The resort is very dated and everything… needs repairs. The first room they put us in had a fire in the AC unit when we turned it on filling the room with toxic plastic smoke. They weren’t going to move us. Sent guys to repair it. We had traveled all day. They did eventually move us to a nicer room with a balcony. Beautiful location but severely outdated. Please be clear with people that the room they are booking doses not have a balcony. And the hotel is old.

Pools are great. However, what brought us back to this resort for a third time was the beach which used to be accessible from the property and was wonderful for long walks. However, a hurricane destroyed the beach in front of the property. (October, 2025). The windows leaked and I was stepping in water getting out of bed. Lighting is cold because of “daylight” bulbs and the great view could only be enjoyed with the doors opened because the glass was so dirty.

Every person employed by this property is a gem!! Love the coastline and ocean view! The pools were wonderful and sooo clean. The food is very delicious and well presented. The rooms are just a bit dated but had a nice layout. Our balcony was great. The patio furniture comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfy. It was a lovely quick vacation!

The location of this property is fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding hills. Clearly, this has top-tier resort potential, but it is now well past due for a thorough renovation. The facilities are overall clean but very dated. The rooms are especially run-down, with the bathrooms probably in the worst shape. Everything is reasonably functional but looks about 20 years overdue for an update. On the positive side, service is fantastic. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very professional. Dining options are decent, and the food is tasty for the most part. There aren’t many entertainment or activity options within the resort, but the pools are nice. If you get a good price, it can be a great deal—but you should know exactly what you’re going for.
