This hotel is right on the beach.Almost every room has an ocean view or a partial ocean view. The staff is the friendliest. The rooms on the property are a little dated, but if that doesn’t bother you, everything else is great. The location is superb and close to the airport. The concierge, Noe, was the best! The breakfast buffet was huge and had great authentic Mexican food. You can have your eggs, however you like because there’s a chef to make sure of it. The table service at the buffet was also superb. Unlike other hotels in the area you can get a margarita at the bar for $7 USA and the breakfast buffet was $15 USA. This property is right next-door to the Instagram famous Viceroy, but for 1/10 of the price. Our friends were staying at the Viceroy and the differences are extreme, but the beach is the same. Lo! If you wanna go have dinner at one of the very pricey restaurants at the Viceroy, make reservations and go check it out. I would also highly recommend having dinner at one of the local restaurants, Carbon Cabron, well worth it and has been a Michelin winner for the last 2 years! Order the fried onion appetizer!!

The staff were nice and courteous. The hotel is old and decadent, in need of serious upgrading. The room and bathroom were clean, the towels OK, the mattress not OK, and my daughter suspects she got bitten my bedbugs during our stay. I reserved there because it is not far from San Jose del Cabo’s historic core and right at the beach but it turned out that along that stretch all beaches are way too dangerous to swim and always ha red and black flags alerting beach goers.

Booked our stay over the Thanksgiving break. Had a wonderful stay and would come back again for sure. Rooms were quaint and what I expected. Food and service was even better than expected. The main restaurant had a great variety of fresh fruit, salads and made to order Mexican cuisine. On Thanksgiving the restaurant served a proper Thanksgiving meal with a delicious turkey, gravy and all the fixing! The clubhouse by the pool had excellent food as well. Drinks at the pool bar were great. Pool was nice and right on the beach and there was a ton of activities that even my teenage daughters thought were fun. Great trip, ton of fun and an incredible value.

It was exactly what it was worth, I wanted something all inclusive but not super Luxe. I'm a regular Joe if I had to describe myself I don't need the best of the best. The rooms are nice, nothing fancy but they are clean and the bathroom is nicely done too. The staff is super friendly and if you get there early like I did you are free to enjoy the amenities until check in time. The food was good, drinks were cold and the beach view was gorgeous. You can walk the beach but don't go in as the current is very strong. Follow everyone's warnings. If you're not sure what you want to do while you're here no problem. There is an activities concierge and as a solo Traveler I found it very affordable. Some of the in-resort activities are free as well. This place is worth every penny. I would suggest it to any of my friends and family

This was our 4th time we have stayed at Posada real. We have always been treated very well. The reception staff is excellent particularly Danya who has geeted us on all our stops and is like meetng again a friend. This trip she assisted us in upgrading our room to a full ocean vew which was worth the reasonable extra cost. The kitchen wait staff was again just excellent, particularly oNuel who was very effieient. I must mention the trainee student Ingred. Ingred's beutiful smile brightened up many a morning. Over a number of stays we have not been disappointed. The facility is extremely well maintained, the pool is great and sitting on the beach watching the sunrise is also an excellent experiece. This hotel is always very clean, the staff are amazing -welcoming, helpful and very nice. The rooms are original decor and well maintained. This is a small hotel so if you are looking for a big resort experience - pool and beach activities, restaurant choices, entertainment - you won’t find it here. What you do get is quiet, very clean hotel with every room with an ocean view and a 2 min walk from the sand. No getting up at 6am to secure your pool lounger or beach palapa. No lengthy check in lines or lines at bar to get drinks. The beach is stunning but note it isn’t safe for swimming. Bfast buffet is good with tons of choices, beach side taco bar has what you need yo eat at beach or pool, service on beach is fantastic. Dinner buffet isn’t great but we could usually find something to eat. We preferred going out for dinner at a number of the restaurants a $5 uber away. Not much happening at night, mariachi band or karaoke usually. This is an early to bed resort so not for you if you’re looking for a party. If so staying in San Lucas makes more sense for you. Pros - Friendly staff, very clean, location amazing and every room with a balcony or patio. Cons - aging hotel with no upgrades (but a/c worked well in room), only small buffet, no restaurants, very small pool. Construction in area around the hotel.
