Overall, this was a nice, all-inclusive resort, with excellent staff, a high level of cleanliness, and around the clock access to food and drinks at one of 9 restaurants or snack bars and many bars. The pools were lovely, and the direct access to the beach was fantastic. Two major downsides were the bed situation - our room was listed as having 2 double beds, but they were pushed together to form one large bed with break down the middle, which our family of 4 needed to cram together to sleep on. Not really conducive to getting a good night's sleep or being comfortable! There was a small sofa in the room (which was not a pull-out), and luckily our 10 year old fit on it, so that eased the crunch for sleeping a bit. But it was not an ideal situation for getting good rest and space to breathe. The other major downside was the noise level. Our room was directly above the entertainment area, and so every night for hours we had loud noise - of voices on microphones, music blaring, guests cheering or singing - going on right beneath us. Even with our balcony doors shut and the curtains closed it was so loud that we had to sleep with ear plugs in many nights. If we wanted to have a conversation or play a game in our room we had to retreat to the lobby or find other spaces to be. One night our 13 year old son had a migraine, and so trying to deal with that while there was loud music pounding below us was just awful. If you go, make a request to be away from the entertainment area.

First of all found live cockroaches near food, Insects crawling out of shower drain, Noisy in first section so the sent me to orher section that was louder. When i told them where to put me beacause after three days i knew where the quiet areas were. Un willing to compensate me for lack of sleep due to it being loud till about midnight everynight. Ask the staff for a cabana to be comped so that maybe I can get some rest. They told me they couldn’t do that. They could move my room a third time which was ridiculous because nobody was in the eight or 10 cabanas they had. It might’ve been one day I saw one couple using one cabana. There was spider eggs and webs going up the handicap ramp from The ocean to the pool after doing some research. Pretty sure it was a brown widow egg sack. It was round and spiky. I was there with my sister and some friends and they let me know that all of their drinks were watered down. They couldn’t even really get drunk so when I poured out some of the alcohol in my room to smell it, I could tell it wasn’t full strength. overall, I would never go back. I had to double triple check all my clothes and my luggage just to make sure there was no cockroaches or eggs in it. The food was meh at best. The steakhouse they have there served me a 8 ounce fillet that I’ve had better sirloin than the fillet. Pretty sure it was not a fillet. Most of the food was bland and flavorless very disappointing. This was our 2nd time at the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas and it did not disappoint. From the well kept rooms to the immaculate grounds and never ending flow of great food, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. With Uber now available just a short walk outside the main gate, most any place we wanted to visit was an inexpensive ride. Highly recommended.

The staff was great, super friendly and helpful! Food was pretty good and you have a lot of choices. Krystal was our favorite though. Most liquor was not top shelf but if stick to beer and champagne, its great! Would definitely go back!

The Resort was great! Very large and well kept. Room was fantastic, cleaning crew did great even left some towel animals for us. The pool was always clean and the bar tenders were great. The staff was excellent. Nice, attentive and happy to see us.

If your staying in Los Cabos with family this is rhe resort you want ti stay at. It is a family resort with adult entertainment as well.
