Was disappointed with the lack of surface in the room as well as the microfibre sheets. There were no luggage stands and no table to sit at. Otherwise, it was not a terrible stay.

Second time staying here. Good basic lodging downtown with free parking and many dining options within walking distance. Continental breakfast very modest. This place is a remarkable value if you want to be downtown.

Clean and tidy room and common areas were nice friendly staff and management and very reasonable price for a double bed in decent size room only complaint is the drop ceiling had water damage in bathroom and blanket was thin and small but they gave us a second blanket

I stayed for 4 days to attend events in Medicine Hat. It located in downtown and takes minutes for me to walk to my event. All staff who I have encountered are very nice friendly. They provided help quickly. The breakfast was simple continental. There is a small kitchen to use if you like to cook or warm up. It makes me feel home at this place.

This is case of you get what you pay for. In this case, not much, but it was clean, comfortable enough, quiet, well located to Medicine Hat's quaint historic downtown. The downside was there were no glasses and no coffeemaker in my room (advertised as an amenity). Hard to brush teeth or have a glass of water with no cups. There was no top sheet on the bed (the one that goes under the duvet). Only a duvet, which I thought was very strange. The minute I got into my room I could see the bed was a double (I have a queen at home, so I know), which I brought to the front desk's attention (in person since there are no room phones), and it was insisted to me that it was a queen room. I gave up on that argument. The "continental breakfast" included cereal dispensers, single-serve yogurts, bread for toast, and a waffle iron and batter. There were no coffee cups in the cupboard when I went down, so I made my coffee in a glass tumbler. Upon checkout when asked about my stay I told reception/management that while the room was comfortable, there were no cups nor a coffeemaker in my room, and no coffee cups in the breakfast area. The fellow just shrugged it off and said "we don't have enough cups." Well, there are several thrift shops nearby to get more. He offered to get me a paper coffee cup, but the coffee I'd had was so bad I declined. It doesn't take much to make sure you have proper setup in a hotel room. When you advertise a coffeemaker, I expect one.

Labor day week-end in Medicine Hat

This hotel is downtown in Medicine Hat - off the highway. Lot's of great places to eat, charm of a small town. In spite of the hotel having seen better days, the room was clean and property well maintained. Bonus to have breakfast as part of stay, fridge in room.
