A fabulous home away from home which is a perfect base for exploring the best that Melbourne has on offer. It is located close to shops, cafes, restaurants, parklands and the Merri Creek but in a lovely quiet pocket, so you really can relax and enjoy.



This renovated and well appointed house offers two bedrooms with queen size beds, separate living & dining areas, functional kitchen with island bench, stunning bathroom, separate laundry, powder room & rear garden with undercover area.



Beautifully maintained two bedroom house on lovely quiet block in Brunswick East. There are polished floorboards throughout and ample room for up to 4 guests to enjoy.



Features of the property include entrance hall, living area with 2 couches & TV, dining room which adjoins the kitchen and boasts a 6 seater dining table and chairs plus heater/air conditioner, kitchen with 6 burner gas stainless steel cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, island bench & full size fridge. There are 2 bedrooms which both have queen size beds, mirrored built in robes & heater/air conditioners, central tiled bathroom with shower, bath, vanity & toilet, separate powder room at rear, separate laundry with washing machine & trough, the dryer is located outside under the patio. Outside there is a great sized undercover area with outdoor dining table and chairs plus a BBQ. This property also has ornamental open fireplaces (decorative only, not to be used), ducted heating, alarm system, one off street carpark and easy parking on the street as well.



Please note: The 3rd bedroom and garage and locked off and are not for guest use & there are cameras at the front & the rear of the property for guest and owner security.



The whole of the property is available except for a locked room at the rear on the right hand side & the garage. These items are locked off for storage and cleaning.

Brunswick East is an inner-urban suburb 6 km north of central Melbourne. It lies between Lygon Street and the Merri Creek, and adjoins Carlton North and Fitzroy North at its southern border.



Brunswick East is within 900 metres of Sydney Road which formed the spine of Brunswick when it was first settled. An early industry in Brunswick East was bluestone quarrying, and there were numerous farms. In 1882 land subdivision centered on Evans Street was released for residential purposes. The swampiness of some of the land was modified by drainage works, and a primary school near Lygon Street (named Brunswick South), was opened in 1886. Another subdivisional sale at the northern end of Lygon Street occurred in 1887, and another school opened in 1888. The East Brunswick Omnibus Company began its horse bus service along Lygon Street the next year.



Lygon Street became a successful shopping strip, wider than Sydney Road, and retaining its period character 100 years later.



An old stone quarry was filled in and became Fleming Park, the home of the East Brunswick cricket and football clubs (1919). In 1916 the tram along Lygon Street was electrified, putting the site of Brunswick`s first textile factory, Prestige Hosiery (1922), within easier reach of its workforce. A returned servicemen`s housing area was begun in 1923, identifiable by the Maori Street names, probably in acknowledgment of the Anzac War tradition.



There are eight neighbourhood parks and reserves in Brunswick East, with another being formed over the former Brunswick tip. To the east of the former tip there is a spectacular Russian Orthodox church. Next to the Merri Creek is the Brunswick Velodrome, and in the 1980s the Council began its support of CERES, a site for low-energy demonstrations and sustainable ecology, also near the creek. Another tram service, along Nicholson Street, was opened in 1956.



This property is the owners home and is on short stays from time to time.

The beds in this property are provided with a fitted sheet, doona with cover and pillows with covers. A top sheet is not provided.



Our property is 100% smoke free zone. If you wish to smoke please do so outside and dispose of cigarette butts correctly. Do not smoke near open doors or windows, to ensure the smoke doesn’t come into the property. If we need to deep clean the property due to a breach of these rules a $500 fee will be charged.
