The hotel was under renovation while we were there so the whole place will be fully updated. All the staff was friendly and helpful including the shuttle drivers. They offer complimentary shuttle to and from the airport which was a nice surprise! Check-in was quick and easy. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We took advantage of two of the many restaurants within walking distance. There is also a nice 1.5 mile paved trail around the golf course behind the property. We only had to walk a couple blocks through a nice neighborhood to get on it. Would stay again in Miami Springs.

It was an okay stay. I’d consider staying here again for short-term visits. A few cons: There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel. It costs $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry, and the machines require quarters. There’s no change machine on-site, so if you plan to do laundry, bring quarters with you. The hotel itself is clean. However, both elevators feel a bit sketchy — they make loud noises and feel like they might stop unexpectedly. I found them uncomfortable to use and chose the stairs instead. The property is currently under renovation, so there are trash bins and boxes outside. I won’t critique that since it’s temporary and related to the construction. The location has nice scenery, but in the Miami heat, walking about a mile to restaurants can be exhausting. I ended up using Uber, though I did walk back once. The heat is expected for Miami, but something to keep in mind. Overall, fine for a short stay, with a few things to be aware of.

The rooms and lobby are newly remodeled, beds were comfortable and they offer a nice step in shower. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved having the shuttle take us to and from the airport! There is a golf course behind the property with a nice walking path that is just over a mile and a half. You can walk a couple blocks to get on it. The neighborhood is nice and maintained well.

Hotel under construction and smells of chemicals, elevators broken and eventually just out of service. Very understaffed with one woman handling everything, she was pleasantly helpful but again just one woman doing it all, which was unfair to her and the guests. Rooms and hallways were dirty, we had to use stairs to tote our luggage in and out of the rooms, just completely inconvenient and uncomfortable, disappointing doesn’t even feel like the right way to describe the situation.
