Parking was easy. However....there was construction going on and when we went to leave, we pulled around back to load our car. With permission from the lobby. This is the same door we have to use to access the beach. As soon as we pulled in the back, someone from the condo next door came running out screaming at us and claimed he called the cops. We tried to explain we were loading our car and he lost his mind on us! The host was AMAZING and the hotel staff was great too.

Im going to rate this property as I would if there were no construction going on as the condos are under a great deal of construction and our host was unaware that construction would be ongoing during our stay and she made ir right. The condo is great, very clean and spacious. We loved the beach and that it was close to things but not on the boardwalk. The host was very easy to communicate with and other than unforseen construction the stay was amazing. We would stay here again as long as there is no construction happening.

South Florida Spring Break.

My family and I chose this condo for its location near the beach, amenities, and price. The building and condo were great for our stay. Although not a luxury property, it was clean, maintained and well-managed. Check in was simple and the condo was just as described. We were very happy with the layout and how clean it was. The only issue during our stay was construction noise from the upstairs condo. Valet was very efficient and wasn’t an issue. I would return for another stay.

Spacious condo get the job done

We stayed five nights with our family of five and had plenty of room to spread out in this clean condo overlooking the pool.Our kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, towels and appliances including a toaster oven/air fryer and fridge with ice and water.There was an extra mattress in one of the closets along with bedding if needed.I also noticed there was a new pack and play available.There is a small washer and dryer in the room free of charge.Larger machines available for pay.Note that there is no volleyball court available like the photos show.The court belongs to a different condo and there is no net or plans to get a new net in the near future so you have to travel about 1.5 miles to Hollywood Beach to find volleyball. Take the free Holly Go Shuttle to get around! Check-in was a little confusing as our host said no early check-in but when we got to condo early to drop off suitcases the front desk said we could drop our bags in the room while housekeeping was there. We then got a text saying this was not okay to do. It was fine in the end but just pointing out it was not smooth.Our room was clean and updated with new TVs, bedding and appliances. The hallways and doors need to be updated/replaced. The keys and fobs were not convenient. The elevators broke down while we were there so fire station had to come. Avoid this condo if you are a light sleeper as the weight room below is used at all hours. My husband sleeps through anything and it woke him.

Perfect for our family!

We had a great time. Couldn’t find the right remote for the bedroom tvs but they weren’t really needed anyway. Loved that there was roll away bed as my (3) kids had no interest in sharing the 2 ample sized beds in the second bedroom. Great beach access. Pool had nice shade. Would definitely stay again.

Beach vacation.

The property is excellent for sun and beach stays. Short distance to Hollywood Beach and great restaurants.Checking in was a little different as I use a valet parking and need to check into front desk for assistance.

Great Winter Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Sian Ocean Residence. This property was well equipped with all we needed. The host Allison is wonderful to work with and checked in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. She went above and beyond to accommodate our changing schedule which was greatly appreciated. The property is in a good location, far enough away from the main boardwalk to have quiet days and only an uber ride away to get to all the main attractions.

LOUD,DIRTY, AWFUL HOST!

EXTREMELY disappointed. Located directly above 24/7 gym serving 200 units. Woken up by 50lb dumbbells slammed on to cement floor and 200 lb metal weight machines at all hours (2am,4am etc
) was a daily occurrence. Entrance to pool area next to gym, exposed to door slamming on daily basis. Large dumpsters for neighboring building located next to this unit emptied at 5:00am twice weekly - extremely loud. Main bathroom had mold and damaged sheet rock/falling paint -partially repaired. Dried urine on base of toilet, crusted snot on bedroom wall, black stains on rug, crusted food on pots, dirty toaster, broken curtain, and AC unit slammed shut when cycling off.Kitchen cabinets covered in cheap peeling laminate.Front door rattles and has gap which allows cooking odors to waft into unit. Beach chairs are rusty and need to be replaced. 2nd bathroom needs to be regrouted also has mold. This building is located one building away for local fire department so constant sirens noise at all hours day and night. Had repairman in unit on 3 separate occasions. Asked to be moved but were denied. Parking attendants were excellent.Finally negotiated a tiny refund which took two weeks and repeated complaints to VRBO to secure.We spent the entire vacation calling management, the host, VRBO and local building department to address the constant noise we endured at all hours of the night to no avail. This a 2.5 at best, nothing luxurious about this unit. Sadly, stayed for a month. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Condo

The condo overlooks the pool. To see the beach, it can be seen but it’s a 3min walk to the beach. Very nice. You are in an upscaled area so the price was right. You are a 1/2 hr away from Fort Lauderdale by the sea. And the opposite way to south beach. Not bad. 10 mins to margaritaville resorts. There is a concrete walk way like a board walk. Really nice . Buses are free if you don’t want to use Ubers. Casino is nice up the road. Bet on the horses and they have nice bars. So if it rains go there. Around the corner is a sports bar called the upper deck. Nice place and it big. Close to see the Miami dolphins that’s why we went there. I recommend it.

Ok, but with issues

Overall our stay was ok, we were safe and had a place to shower and stay. I don’t feel like the “luxury” title applies to some aspects of our stay. Pros: Ease and cost of parking - Valet allows you to self park with ease. Location Cons: - The check-in communication doesn’t come like normal communication that I’m used to. It didn’t come at 24 hours barely arrived four hours ahead of check-in. Checkout instructions were delivered in the middle of the night as opposed to 24 hours ahead of time. - Scuffs on walls and chunks taken out of drywall. - No instructions in apartment on how to use multiple remotes to TVs. - Had to replace batteries in remote. - Upon check in, we were told there would be a delay due to exterminator having come. And that we should’ve been advised this by our host. We were not, in fact our time of arrival was confirmed day of with host. This was a three hour delay for us after a long travel day. -Once finally in condo, we noticed a lot of dead bugs on the floors. Obviously this is due to the exterminator coming. However, I had to then find the broom and sweep immediately. I was traveling with family and didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. But this was a HUGE let down upon arrival. -Guest room tv doesn’t have a remote at all, had to download app. - Wooden frame bed in guest room is extremely loud when shifting.parking/valet

ROACH INFESTED APARTMENT - HORRIFIC

THERE WERE ROACHES THERE FROM THE DAY WE ARRIVED UNTIL THE DAY WE LEFT. I SENT VRBO PICTURES, VIDEOS AND TEXT SCREENSHOT BETWEEN HOST AND MYSELF WHERE HOST ACKNOWLEDGES ROACH ISSUES AND HAD APARTMENT EXTERMINATED THE DAY BEFORE WE ARRIVED. SHE ALSO SAID THE PREVIOUS VACATION RENTERS WERE PIGS- BLAMING THEM - MAINTENANCE KNEW ABOUT THE COCKROACH ISSUE FOR A WHILE. I CAN PROVE ALL WITH PHOTOS, VIDEOS, TEXT MESSAGES, ETC.

Excellent value, great location

Stayed here during a conference at Hilton Diplomat two doors down - myself and a colleague stayed and saved a bundle. This place is right above the pool so fun people watching. Quiet and comfortable. I arrived well after midnight and while there was a little confusion it was all handled very well and quickly. Could not have asked for anything better. Note no soap/shampoo or such was provided so bring your own.

Fun in Hollywood

Had an amazing week with my family the location is perfect a short car or Uber ride to boardwalk. Total beach vibe everything you need in unit and surrounding area. Clean and friendly building. Valet amazing. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us.

What was expected

We enjoyed our time! It was some what local to the boardwalk. Ocean was beautiful. Rooms and beds were spacious and comfortable. Allison was available if needed- but we didn’t need :-) Will def check here when we return.

Nice Family vacation

Good stay. Owner very responsive. Adequate spacing for family of 6. Nothing fancy, but got the job done. Only real downside was the location of the condo being above the gym and right by the service elevator, so pretty noisy. I slept with earplugs, so i did just fine. Pool and beach easily accessible. Staff very friendly!! Would stay again with the family.

Great Stay @ Hallendale Beach

Apt is completely upgraded with a great pool view. Very roomy and comfortable. VRBO listing should include a heads up for the “required” fees for building key fob ($30 per couple) & parking ($10/day).
