"Loved my stay here. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and the staff is very accommodating. I was arriving a bit before check in, and they communicated well about having a storage area for luggage, but I ended up being able to check in early. The hotel is very conveniently located for many bus routes, a short walk in either direction for really cool areas (Old Montreal or Place de Arts), and close to metro station if needed. There’s a great food hall just around the corner. It’s on a main road, and felt very safe, but I was not kept up with city sounds. The room was spacious, and the view was great from my room. I did not get breakfast at the hotel as it was quite expensive. My only complaint would be that the walls seem paper thin. I got lucky and had a fairly quiet hallway, but if it had been more rowdy, I think it would have annoyed me. It’s also not too prohibitive, but there is only one elevator, so if you’re coming and going at popular times, you might be waiting a while for it, especially on a higher floor. I have a knee injury so I could not do the stairs, but I just made a point to arrive a little before or after peak hours (around check in/out, common meal hours). Overall a fantastic and affordable hotel and I will definitely book again on my next trip to Montreal."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Cove Hotel during my trip to Montreal and would definitely stay here again. The location was excellent—close to great restaurants, cafés, and easy to get around the city. My room was more like a studio apartment than a typical hotel room, which I really appreciated. It included a washer and dryer, making it especially convenient for a longer stay. The bathroom was spacious, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. If I had to mention one minor thing, it would be that there wasn't a bath mat for stepping out of the shower. I'm sure I could have requested one from the front desk, but I used one of the extra towels instead, so it wasn't a major issue. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily recommend The Cove Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay in Montreal."
