Don’t go!

I’ve never stayed in such a terrible hotel! The walls and floors outside the room were filthy, and the floor inside the room was dirty too — only the bed was clean. Small cockroaches would crawl out from time to time! I even had to spend my own money to buy cockroach spray and place it around the room. The only thing worth praising was the housekeeping staff — mostly Central and South Americans who didn’t speak much English, but thankfully we could communicate using translation apps on our phones. Honestly, if it weren’t for trying to save money, I would have run away in a heartbeat!

If all you’re looking for is the cheapest room in the area this is it. But it’s the worst part of Milpitas. Homeless and prostitution in the area. Service was terrible. They had no laundry service and there was no BBQ grill onsite which their online site says they have. And I had to have my room key rescanned every day for the 7 days I was there. Totally unacceptable. This place sucks.

I reserved a non-smoking room through Expedia and paid in full in advance. When I arrived at almost midnight, it was obvious that they had given my non-smoking room to someone else since all that they could provide was a smoking room. I informed the surly and conversational English-challenged clerk that that was unacceptable, and either provide the non-smoking room per the fully paid reservation or issue a full and immediate refund. He refused to do either. I will never patronize the Executive Inn again since there are other similarly priced local hotels that are clean, safe, and provide the type of room that the customer requested and paid for. I strongly suggest that others also patronize those establishments and not the Executive Inn.

Definitely not what the pictures online showed. Not family friendly. Property has a lot of people living there long term. It was good enough for our short trip and was a place to sleep and shower but that was all.

Bed bugs all over the room.

Awful - bed bugs. We checked in around 8:00 pm and settled in for the evening. We were working, so had our laptops out and were sitting in the bed working. About 9:00 I notice a bug crawling on the bed. I flicked it off without thinking about it. A few minutes later my partner noticed another, and then I found another, and then we realized there were a bunch of them. We counted about five on the bed crawling around at any given time. We later found a few crawling on the floor. This site won't let me upload videos, or you'd see that could could just pull back the sheets and see several crawling around. If you've ever read about bed bugs, they're really difficult to get rid of, they bite, and once they crawl into your luggage they spread to your home and it's really difficult to escape them after they get into your clothes and things. We immediately left. Luckily we didn't have our bags out and sitting around, and had to check them carefully. So far we have seen no signs of being infested. Thank goodness we did not stay the night. To their credit, the hotel gave us a refund, but they also didn't seem surprised at all. There was no expected horrified reaction, and they didn't ask to see pictures or videos. They didn't ask for proof. Just as soon as I said there were bed bugs, they sort of started processing the refund. I suspect that they already knew, which is why I'm leaving the review.

The a/c did not work. The room temperature remained in the upper to mid 70's to low 80's. Due to people living in the hotel, roaches were present! Also, if someone in an adjoining room are taking a shower, it caused the water-pressure to be very low which would cause the shower to shake and produced an extremely loud and abnoxious sound!

Felt not safe....

Check-in: 24h coverage is great also for those who do late check-in. Bad experience, my wife and I got somehow a room card for a room which was busy by someone else. This shows me that everyone could get into my room. Also in the room there is only a single locker for the door, but not a double one like for most of the hotels. In this area it would be highly recommended. The bathroom was not clean at all. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart and there were everywhere mold...for me looks not safe at all anymore. In addition, the guest above was not sleeping at all was walking the whole night. We heard every single step... not sure what he/she was doing. Definitely not normal... The bed was at least comfy and fortunately, we stayed only for a night. Never ever... would definitely not recommend.

The room smelled like a combination of vomit and urine. The comforter had a hole in it. The shower towels were too small. The shower curtain is too small and doesn't cover the length of the tub. Having a fridge and microwave was the best thing about the place.

Nothing executive about it. The blankets were stained and had cigarette burns. There were drawings and stains all over the walls. The floors were dirty. The bathroom smelled so bad. It was the worst inn I’ve ever been in.
