We had the superior room which as a good size and a fabulous bathroom. Was disappointed that there are no tea/coffee making facilities but a kettle was supplied on request. The train station was a 700 metre walk from the hotel and then easy to get around. Not many restaurants in this area but good supermarkets. The breakfast was good and the restaurant had great food.

Great stay!
We loved our stay at Hotel Obermaier! It has a traditional Bavarian feel and decor - warm, cozy, and welcoming. The rooms were clean and modern. The lobby was so cozy we sat out there and had drinks and played cards at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an incredible selection at breakfast. The hotel is a short walk to the train station into downtown Munich (20 minutes to downtown).

Hotel Obermaier is in a quiet neighborhood in East Munich with easy access to the trains. ( 8-10 minute walk) The hotel and staff were great and our room was large. I would definitely stay here again on any future trips to Munich.
