The location of hotel is the best walkable to train station and top tourist site. The staff in the hotel was impressive. They were friendly, helpful and thoughtful. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who visit Munich.

Nice Hotel in Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Schiller5 Hotel. It is less than a block away from the Haupbahnhof so transportation is easy, and it's also walking distance to Marienplatz which is convenient. The streets around the hotel are very busy and noisy with construction but we didn't hear it in our room. I read previous reviews about the neighborhood being not so great. Yes there are some homeless people around, but no worse than most large cities and we felt safe. We loved the breakfast which was fabulous, with a large selection of hot and cold items.

Everything but location

Super nice stay, very clean. The only negative thing is the noisy neighborhood. Right downtown and very close the Haupbahnhauf train station. Nice to have beverages refreshed in room each day if you like.

The bathroom was a JOKE. Minute. No room whatsoever. If you were fat you could not have gotten out of the shower! The area is ghetto. We were ill at ease there and took Ubers everywhere. One of our worst hotels ever.

Wet central property. Bed and linen very comfortable. Quiet despite being in a central location. Staff very good. Had an issue with my room that was dealt with quickly. Water pressure excellent. Very good value.

Room looked nothing like the pictures, but was dark and gloomy. Room was under the roof, could not stand up straight on one side of the bed. Room was not properly made up (sheets not straightened, lumpy pillows not shaken out). Cook top cracked. Would not stay there again and do not recommend.

The Schilling 5 was a very nice hotel. One block from the Train Station and an easy walk to downtown Munich. Room was very clean, decent bathroom. Outstanding breakfast which was included.

The location was fantastic for us. Close to the main station with trams, and UBahn stop at the corner. Lots of places for a quick take away meal, but also some nice places in the area. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to get to the old town and art museums. Breakfast was good with many options and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The only complaints we had were fruit flies at breakfast and the very tall tub/shower that was a bit difficult for my short legs to get in and out of.

Wonderful, clean rooms well accommodated. The hotel is steps away from the Hauptbahnhof and all the energy that comes with it. I enjoyed how we literally stepped off the street into a quiet alley that felt safe. Good security measures and the staff was kind and caring. I try to give a blow dryer rating with all my comments, 6/10. Good heat and power, but it’s attached to the wall, also have to hold the button to maintain power.
