Upon check-in, the bathroom/shower in our first room appeared to have been recently used—it was wet, there was a Dove soap box on the sink, Clorox Clean-Up spray left out, and a wet towel in the bedroom area. I was offered a cleaning or a room change; since my child and I had just carried all our belongings upstairs, I chose cleaning. When putting things away, I noticed the fridge was warm with no knob to adjust the temperature, so we moved to another room on the same floor. Unfortunately, this room also had a strange odor. Both rooms had dehumidifiers, which I emptied upon check-in and again after one day—a lot of humidity for Florida, where I have a dehumidifier at home that rarely fills in a single day. The breakfast selection was limited to cold, continental-style items. The bright side: the shower got hot, which is great after a long drive or, for my son, after a day of sports. Overall, I would not choose this hotel again as my first option.
