With 23 floors and around 2,500 guests there were only 2 working elevators! I have health issues and had to use the stairs, because the wait to get on the elevator was 20 minutes. The Hudson New York Hotel charged an extra $30 fee per day for the hotel facility fee/resort fee. I am still trying to figure out what was the guest amenities? There was no restaurant. There was no pool. There was no room service. I didn't see a fitness center. The elevators didn't work. There was no coffee maker in our room. There was no bottled water. There was mold in our bathroom. The carpet was disgusting in the hallways. Seriously, the Hudson New York Hotel should of refunded every guest because these elevators were broken for an entire week! In addition, there was this loud knocking and clanking sound behind the headboard of the beds (noisy pipes). My family stayed in room 530 from 12/27/2019-1/1/2020. So sad. This hotel has so much potential because it is in a good location. It looks like the owners of this hotel refuse to put money into this hotel since they bought it. This hotel needs a complete renovation and the elevators need to be fixed. Reading prior reviews it looks like the elevators have been broken for a very long time. This is not fair to the guests of this hotel. It is also a safety issue. In addition, the rooms were very small. Do not stay at this hotel! With the hidden fees we paid $300 per night!

Did not like anything at all. Terrible tiny room & bathroom , terrible service, only 2 working elevators. Noisy A/C & Heat. You can hear everything from outside. Overall - terrible experience. Please stay away from this hotel.

No restaurant or cafe only 1 elevator working. Staff rude & unhelpful. Very few staff anywhere long waits for staff to show up & elevators were not repaired or fixed. No compensation for long waits & staff rude & absent

More like a youth hostel and fearful that it was the Movie Hostel... We used to stay at this property here and there and really enjoyed the vibe, but had I know that it was no longer a Schrager property, we would not have stayed. It was down right depressing. No music when you walk in. No Vibe. No cool bar. Elevators that did not work. The bar actually had no booze. The room was clean, but the halls are run down and tired. The staff is no longer top notch. Pretty much mediocre. Had I not gone there with my wife for one night and we just needed a place to stay we would have disputed the charge with Amex and left. But we only had to sleep there so it was fine. Fix the place, sell it... close it... whatever, but its not good. Go elsewhere

It was a horrible experience. The rooms are like a hostel but u pay room fee plus 70 dollars for fees. They lost our luggage.

I’ve stayed here several times & I think you can raise the bar..my faucet didn’t work properly in the bathroom & heat not turned on 10-29? The only red wine being served in the bar was sub par. I looked @ the door in my room & it looked beat up. I think it’s truly time for an update
