The breakfast selection was really poor. They were out of almost everything by 7:30. People were asking for more food to be brought out. There was a very small amount of sausage gravy that was lukewarm. Both of the mattresses in my room were in really bad condition. Felt like the entire mattress was broken down. Both of us woke up with sore achy backs.

The hotel itself was a decent place to stay. It was very quiet. Pool area was clean. I am not a fan of blue painted pools because it’s hard to see the bottom but the kids had fun splashing around. It is a dog friendly hotel and they did not tell us we were in a dog friendly room which had an interesting order like a cleaning product.

The hot tub and pool was great and the breakfast was decent for a "continental" one, with sausage gravy and biscuits, boiled eggs, and good pastries. However, you need to get to breakfast pretty early because they don't replenish everything after 8:00 and breakfast is done by 9:00. The clerk was efficient but rather curt, but she was running breakfast as well as everything else so that is some excuse, but a little more of a pleasant tone would have gone a long way.
