THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE

Pros: walking distance to everything
Cons: Noisy, Poor breakfast, horrible chinzy cheap rooms
We were at the Falls for our 24th wedding anniversary. Just us, no kids is hard to come by!! Upon arriving, I had to wait for the front desk staff to complete THEIR talk before being served. Once I got my room, I was a little worried to because we were right in front of the elevator. I went back to the front desk and told the person of my concern and she said "Oh, dont worry, this is a very quite hotel and if there are any issues with noise, our security will deal with it right away" RIGHT...we went out, had dinner, went to the casino for the first time ever and then went back to our room. We watched a bit of TV, 11:30, tv off & off to sleep; 12:00 2 angry men YELLING in the hallway (right in front of our room of course) I called security. 1:45AM a group of people fighting in the hallway - again - 2:05 someone with a yelling baby walking up and down hallway. 3:10 another group of men fighting in hallway - thank the lord it a "quite hotel" though. The room was sparce, the hotel old, as clean as a 15 min job will get you. the carpet could NOT be any cheaper, I kept my shoes on. chinzy, chinzy, chinzy! I could see through the broken ceiling tiles in the washroom to the ducts. I could HEAR everyone in any room around me. I have paid cheaper and gotten significantly more. Ive, stayed at 2 star hotels in MEXICO that were better then this. The next morning when I complained to the front desk, the manager gave me free parking and some coupons for a free breakfast to the restaurant attached to the hotel. DO NOT EAT THERE, DONT, REALLY!

This hotel was a good and comfortable stay.

Pros: Quiet, close to all amenities
Great locaction, literally within walking distance from Clifton Halls and Casino Niagara. Staff are sweet and courteous. Only bad thing was that there were no ice machines on each floor, just one in the main lobby.

at check in we asked for a room on top floor- we were told that because we booked with travelocity we do not have a choice- the room was not clean - 5 nights never changed our sheets- we had to wait until 3:00 pm to get our room cleaned- front desk told us they have until 4:00 to clean the room- they just made the bed and replaced the towels-never replaced soap left at the bottom of the tub put the soap back to use it again never cleaned the toilette- pluming not working- staff not helpful - we felt uncomfortable asking for help- it seems that we were intruding because we booked with travelocity... pool not clean....

Booking with Travalocity is not the problem at all. We do not have the authority to change room types from 3rd parties therefore you may not have had an upgrade room on a higher floor. We’re sorry you were unhappy - we’ll work hard to fix the issue you experienced. Thanks for letting us know.

This hotel is in need to be updated. The bed is comfortable, however the AC was noisy and the bathroom was outdated.

Nice place; thin walls.

Location: Near to everything.
This hotel is great for being someone near to everything. We typically have stayed further out, so it was nice to be within walking distance of everything we enjoy: Skylon Tower, casinos, the falls, etc. The hotel is nice. We especially enjoyed the sauna. The pool room is very strong with chlorine smell, so it bothered my asthma, but the sauna was nice. It looks pretty new. The second night, we had young girls check in beside us and they were being obnoxious. That ruined things for me. You could hear everything they were doing and saying.

The hotel is close to the Niagara Falls both American and Canadian side. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are specious and clean.

Walking distance to everything

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Faucets/handles should work before guests arrive, housekeeping should identify when something is broken. Staff should know about main attractions.
Location: 5-10 minute walk to Clifton Hill, 15 to the Falls, 20 to waterpark (go through garage). Restaurants everywhere.
Hotel is very convenient, can walk to all attractions, Clifton Hill, waterpark, Falls, etc. which was our main reason for staying here. Room was okay. Bathroom wallpaper pealing off, faucet handle broken, little things like that but since we didn't stay in the room much, just to sleep, it served it's purpose of being reasonably priced and close to attractions. Nothing fancy. The mattresses are pretty hard so if you need a comfy sleep, these are not for you. And bring your own pillows. Staff was nice and they did move our room from right next to the elevator which is loud (was noted in other reviews to move if you can too). Nice to have a small fridge & microwave in the room so we were able to bring breakfast foods, snacks, drinks etc. since EVERYTHING is overpriced. Didn't eat at the hotel. Wireless was sporadic and clicked off from time to time, but not a deal breaker. Overall if you want just a decent place to sleep that is convenient for walking then this is it. If you want something without flaws, this is not.
