We stayed one of the 3 nts we pre-paid for. Ditched and went to far better place via expedia. Proprietors don't care. A/c was controlled. No tv remote, when asked for one, was wrong one. When returned from dinner to sit on terrace before bed, they removed all the furniture nowhere to sit. Bathroom door didn't even close shut/broken. Room so small couldn’t fit our bags and walk. And check out was *10am*! Only positive was main reason booked it, we prefer promanade des anglais. Maybe good for 20- or 30-somethings with low expectations, and no car to park, and ok w all stairs. Never again for us.

Location to the beach and tranaportation were very close. I had a great view of the sea from my room. Joseph, the own, was very helpful and friendly. The accomodate you with beach supplies such as towels, umbrella, pad to place on the sand, and sun block lotion. The room was very quite despite being on the main street. There is a grocery store very close by. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Nice.

Would like to have experienced.

Because of an unfortunate serious of events, the main reason being "Covid" we were unable to travel. We were planing on spending our 49 wedding anniversary. Hopefully we will be able to someday.

Host was very friendly. Check-in was easy and hotel is located right across from the beach. 10-15 min walk to get to a lot of restaurants so well placed. Great breakfast and overall very friendly service.

Simple hotel in a great location.

Very simple hotel in a great location. Room was clean and updated. It would be nice if the front desk was open later. We almost missed our check in due to delays on the train. Receptionist was cheerful, and went above and beyond to serve us. We did not do breakfast there because it was so expensive but it is available, so as such, I can't comment on the quality.

We stayed in the basement room -- there was myself, my sister and my two daughters. It worked well. It was very hot, so the air conditioning was wonderful. We did not have a view, but it did not matter. The beach is across the street and a 20 minute walk to Old Nice. Well worth it.

Wonderful

We had an amazing stay. The owner, Joseph, is so kind and honest. He was very helpful in arranging our tours, checking up on us and ensuring our stay was exceptional. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the owner and his hospitality! The location is great, 20-30 minute walk from the old town (depending on how fast you walk), with many markets and restaurants along the way. The hotel is directly behind the metro stop (you can take a metro from the airport, directly to the hotel and you just have to walk around the corner after you get off at the stop). Communication before we arrived was fantastic and prompt, which is so important for a traveler coming from overseas and without the comfort of a properly working phone! My mom and I stayed in the “basement” room and actually really enjoyed it, it felt like a normal room with a private entrance. very safe and the large patio door let in sunlight. So thankful Flots D'Azur was available during our stay! Would stay here again. Thank you Joseph for such a wonderful stay!

The room rate was amazing for the view and location of the hotel. Plus, the owners have done a great job with the room updates and interior design. As a business traveler, who normally uses traditional chain hotels, I was very happy with all elements from check in to check out. Is everything equal to chain hotel? No, but you don't get personalized service, BB feel, or location.
