The location of the property is excellent - close to old town, shopping, waterfront. The only downside is that there is carpeting that is showing signs of wear and feels a little unkempt. The rooms are clean.

Excellent location for the beach, many restaurants and shops very nearby, too. Hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly. We particularly enjoyed going to the small rooftop bar for a cocktail before heading out each evening. The breakfast is low key, but includes plenty of choice and some interesting items.

The asian woman in the breakfast area was VERY unfriendly. The girls at the reception told us to take coffe out of the coffe machine if we wanted, next day when we did in the morning this woman was VERY rude accusing my wife for stealing coffe, and tock her to the reception, with a man this day, not same girls, and they had her pay for one cup of coffe this day and two cups the day before that the girls invited us to take, they did not belive that and was VERY unfriendly.

When we arrived we were offered a dark room on 1st floor with cages in the window overlooking the top of the next building, smelling mold. When we asked for another room -they said all orhers are booked, as if ours was not!- they then gave us the handicapped room. Paying 183 eur/ night no breakfast, l was hoping for better!

Average hotel

On the positive side hotel was central, short distance to tram from/to airport. Area is safe and quiet and we were allowed slightly early check in Room and bathroom were pretty small with very little space to move and although advertised as refurbished only some part were recently updated. Breakfast was adequate but would have been better to have a bit more variety over the days. We were disappointed to notice that the city tax which is charged separately was taken from credit card without any notice or receipt when we left. As a whole this is a 3 stars property and not 4 as advertised.

When we checked on I was informed my reservation was canceled, I never canceled my reservation, I had all documentation and the clerk didn’t know why. Fortunately, I was able to secure a room at the same rate. The breakfast was included, which was great. The hotel itself had a nice, comfortable vibe and the location was perfect.
