This hotel was wonderful. It had the best shower we experienced in Europe. It is close to the beach, dining and shopping. The train was close and we rode it to Monaco and caanes. Did I mention you could actually change the TV language to English!

Walkable to beaches and restaurants fronting the water. Very close to airport, though no airport shuttle. There is a bus that stops at the airport, though there was some confusion about which number it was. With enough questions at the stop, we finally got on the right bus.

Spent the weekend in Nice. Easy check in, friendly staff. Multi-lingual. Room was perfect for us, two adults and 16 year old son. Hotel is 5 minute walk to the beach and many beach front restaurants. Also 5 minute walk to modern shopping mall. Definitely recommend.

I spent a night there after my flight at the nearby airport was canceled. I was expecting much, I needed to be back at the airport the next morning and thought it will be your usual modest airport hotel room but for £100 odd Pounds I was expecting a bit better standard and the overall experience was quite grim. The hotel is located very close to the airport but it is away from all the other airport hotels positioned near more industrial buildings which at this time were all closed giving you a feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. I arrived very late and all downstairs reception was dark with the concierge sleeping on the sofa. He wasn’t wearing a uniform or anything indication he works for the hotel. During check in, a man walked into the reception from the outside and bought a pack of cigarettes from the concierge and walked out (seemed a bit doggy to me). The concierge was friendly but made a comment about me travelling alone which made me feel uncomfortable.I don’t want to say anything bad about him I’m sure he is a good man but the whole situation made me feel quite unsafe as a woman travelling alone. My room was ok but again for the price I paid I would expect better standard,it was in a very bad shape but I must admit it was clean. For security I wanted to bold or at least wedge the door somehow but it didn’t have any additional locks except of the key lock and the door opened outwards into the hall so o couldn’t wedge it or block it. Not the best experience.

Comfortable hotel - close to beach & airport

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and keen to help (except for lost property - see comment below). There was a beach extremely close by with lots of lovely bars and restaurants to choose from. Huge shopping centre nearby - lots of designer brands. 5 minutes walk to railway - 30 minute train journey to Monaco, Monte Carlo. If you like English tea, this can be difficult to find - there was a great McDonalds 1 minute from the hotel who did the best tea. 10 minute bus ride to and from the airport for E1.50, so don't get a taxi. Despite close proximity to airport we did not hear any air traffic noise. Be careful not to flood the bathroom though - if shower nozzle pointing wrong way, the water will go everywhere! All in all an enjoyable stay and an excellent budget hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic helpful night porter ...............

Business trip to deliver two high performance luxury cars. The night porter from Senegal was brilliant, he even got us to move both the vehicles from the hotel's car park at rear to the front so he could keep an eye on them all night. 5 minute walk to the beach and port of St Laurent du Var giving you over 50 bars and restaurants. Also good for the wife, 5 minutes to the largest shopping centre in France CAP3000! Walking distance to train station giving you access to Nice, Monaco etc..
