The hotel is very nice. The staff was friendly. The beds were a bit hard and the fireplace difficult to work. otherwise, it is an excellent location with a beautiful view

Lovely atmosphere and a different vibe from a standard hotel. Breakfast was simple pre packaged foods but was still nice. Veiws of the sunset over lake Nipissing right from the room, would be nice if the glass was cleaned more often. I enjoyed my stay.

Quiet and clean with a great view
Just passing through for one night stay. Check-in was easy, the room was spacious and clean. Jetted tub was nice but a bit small for two. Could not figure out how to start the fireplace but didn’t need it. Shower was nice but plan to bring your own poo, conditioner and body wash. Hot breakfast delivered at 9am was a nice touch. The view overlooking the lake and watching the sunset was awesome. We would stay again!

Nice grounds, polite friendly staff, beautiful views, and clean/quiet hotel. The breakfast delivered to the room is a nice touch, but is not contactless and arrived frozen. Be prepared to answer the door at 9am and heat it up on your microwave. Everything was tasty! Thanks - will be back.

I would have given an excellent rating if the bed had been better. While the mattress and pillows were firm and comfortable, the bed frame was extremely light and moved with the slightest shift, resulting in a less-than-ideal sleeping experience. However, the view and cleanliness of the room were beyond expectations.

rooms above 110 are in a separate unit that seems like an afterthought and maybe is what they use for 3rd party reservation. I stayed 2 nights and woke up the second night to no power in the room. It seemed to have been cut around 3-5 am and was not restored before checkout. I could not heat the breakfast I was provided, could not make a coffee, had to shower in the dark could not shave, internet was unavailable and cell service is poor in these units. I assumed it was an area outage a result of maybe bad weather but the office staff seemed to know this was a scheduled event, that I feel I should have at least been informed about and maybe even compensated for.
