The surrounding town of Oakhurst has several great restaurants and stores for all your needs. A car is highly recommended for getting around town as things are spaced fairly far apart. There's a trolley that stops in various areas around town during peak seasons, but it shouldn't be relied upon as a primary mode of transportation. The house is situated on a hill, with a beautiful view overlooking the valley and mountains. It's about 10 minutes from Bass Lake and about 15 minutes to the Yosemite South entrance.
