Cozy West oakland cottage with Air Conditioning

Summary:

Situated in the up and coming West Oakland neighborhood, close to freeway, emeryville shopping and hip downtown Oakland, this newly refurbished home has everything you need for a home base for your vacation or work trip. Easy access to San Francisco via freeway or BART.



The cottage is behind the main house and receives very little noise. It's quiet and has minimal light pollution at night making for a great nights sleep.



The Space:

If you go down the right side of the house to the back garden you'll find a nice sitting area in front of the back cottage. There may be guests in the main house who will be sharing the garden. Please be considerate of them.

There is a sliding door to the cottage which opens to the main sleeping/living area. To the left is a small kitchen and to the right of the kitchen is the bathroom.

The cottage has air conditioning.



Guest Access:

You'll have exclusive access to the cottage. The garden and sitting area outside the cottage are shared with the main house.



NO off street parking is provided with the cottage, but there is often plenty of street parking nearby.



The Neighborhood:

West Oakland is one of Oakland's hip and up and coming neighborhoods. nearby is a new housing development and much of the area is being renewed while much of of the area retains the old world charm with many Victorian and Edwardian homes.



There are eateries and coffee shops within walking distance or downtown Oakland, Emeryville or the very hip Rockridge districts are a short drive.



Getting Around:

This cottage is very close to the freeway on-ramp with direct access to San Francisco. The West Oakland BART station is not far as another option to quickly get to San Francisco or around the bay. AC Transit busses will take you to downtown Oakland, or elsewhere nearby.
