Bayfront cottage offers amazing views of the water and Assateague Island

Whether you’re enjoying time by the firepit or sipping coffee on the couch, the views of Sinepuxent Bay and Assateague Island make this cottage the ideal spot for your next vacation. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only a short drive from Assateague Island, the historic town of Berlin, and the Ocean City Boardwalk.

The cottage boasts two bedrooms, one bathroom, a common room, and a fully-stocked kitchen. The main bedroom has a queen bed while the guest bedroom has a pullout futon. There is a washer/dryer in the cottage for your use.

The outside of the cottage offers a firepit, Adirondack chairs, and your own private parking spots. The community has a rec room (ping pong table, arcade games, etc.), two pools (seasonal), a volleyball court, a basketball court, a dog park, and a pond with paddleboats. The community pier (with floating dock) is a very short walk from the cottage, which is great for kayaking, crabbing, or fishing.

There is a gated entrance to the community (Assateague Pointe). When you check in, the Welcome Center or security guards will issue you keys to the cottage and swipe cards to enter the neighborhood.

We can accommodate a pup in our cottage as well. Please do reach out to get prior approval. Your pup must be under 50 pounds and well-behaved. We do charge a pet fee of $75.

We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint. No mop, broom, dust pan, or small vacuum. Only a vacuum that couldn't get under beds and corners. Nooks and crannies and under beds were dirty. No outside picnic table. View of bay, from back of house is outstanding and well worth staying here.

Great views - Awesome stay!Stayed 5 nights with family, including furry kids. Very homey, clean, quiet neighborhood and great views of the bay! The property is very close to everything - OC boardwalk, assateague beach, waterpark (kids love), restaurants, putt-putt, and many others - can't list them all. Everything you'll need for family fun at the beach Hosts provided lots of small necessities, not necessary to bring much. We will be back again for sure!

What a view of the bay , our family loved staying here, clean home and nice family atmosphere and the amenities are the best 2 pools , fishing ponds, paddle boats, so much to do and not enough time to do it all , also very close to the beaches, thanks again ,looking forward to next year:)

Birthday getaway

Overall, this stay was nice but the ad was a bit misleading. This is listed as a cottage but it is a trailer albeit in a nice development with a stunning outdoor view, I felt a bit taken a back. Additionally, although the rental is a 2 bedroom, the second bedroom is a pull out , not a proper bed. Sheets and towels were provided, along with basic toiletries. Downside is you have to either walk or drive your garbage to dumpster lot on the grounds. Lastly, there is 1 television in the entire unit (living room) that is not cable ready not is a smart TV. They do offer screen casting but if a guest doesn't have phone casting access then their out of luck. We were advised about the TV, but the owner suggests to take in the "view of the water instead ". That's a great suggestion but not for those that have vision issues or if the weather doesn't permit for bay gazing. For the cost the listing should be more accurate with pictures of each bedroom with their beds. The owner is easy to communicate with and refunded an additional pet fee that was charged twice which was commendable.

Beautiful View

Charming house in a gated community with a lovely view of the bay. April is off season so there weren’t many people around but felt very secure. The house had everything I needed and the community is a great place to walk the dogs.

Those views though!

I couldn't be happier with this rental. The views are soooo much better in person!!!! There is nothing better than drinking coffee or eating dinner while looking at that bay! We could even see horses across the way on Assateague island. The house was clean and communication with the owners was amazing! The extras they supplied were amazing and made us feel spoiled. 15/10!!! The community was beautiful and we were especially happy to have a dog oark! Would love to stay here again!!!!

Great getaway!

Peaceful and quaint retreat! Perfect for all of our needs. The host was very communicative due to a water problem and got this fixed quickly. Friendly rental check in staff as well. Most importantly the location is amazing- it’s within minutes to the Assateague parks and Berlin.

Perfect Getaway!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful house. We absolutely love it. It is clean and inviting. The location and the view can’t be beat! Nice cottage with a lovely view

This small, clean and well-stocked house is in a seasonal gated community. April is off-season and the area was wonderfully quiet. The unimpeded view was gorgeous. Had a small problem with the heat, the response was very fast and the problem fixed immediately.

Nice place With a view of the water

We truly enjoyed viewing the sunrise each morning. One small suggestion would be to relocate the sofa so that you have the best view of the sunrise. We had our puppies with us and it was a nice relaxing time. Thank you.

Very enjoyable

The place was lovely and had everything we needed. The snacks were a surprise and went well with our morning coffee, our weather was not great but we still enjoyed the view and watching all the birds. Our little pup enjoyed it to. Would highly recommend it for your stay. The owner checked in to see if we needed anything and correspondence was great. The only thing my husband missed was his news and weather on the TV. 😃 we did use the chromecast to watch comedy shows. All in all a great stay. Thank you Jessica

Wonderful Mini Vacation

We arrived at this beautiful cottage and fell in love! It was clean, modern and very nicely appointed with all the things we needed. The kids (and mom) were so excited with the cute snack basket. We appreciated the clean linens and all the beds were made up and ready for us. All we had to do was unpack. The views are beautiful!! Everyone wants to come back next year!!

Loved the bay cottage

Five stars. The cottage was as expected. It was clean & comfortable. The location within the neighborhood had a great view as well as close to the pool. It was nice that the owners contacted us after check in to see if anything was needed. I highly recommend this place .
