I'll start with the great...I loved the feel of this place, the pictures do it justice. Very quaint, contemporary, has almost a "glamping" vibe with its outdoor spaces. Its also great if you want to feel like a local vs a tourist in a big resort...its located in a gated community with beach access and some nice walkable areas.
Unfortunately, there's also the bad. The only reason I didn't have a great stay is that there was an issue with my room where I didn't have any hot water. Now I accept that a boutique place like this, you have to give a bit of grace, but my problem is that is just wasn't dealt with in a timely manner. I mentioned it to the staff before I headed out for dinner and was told they would address it. When I came home later that night still no hot water. It wasn't until the next morning when I brought it up again with another staff member that they fixed the problem. They did offer a couple perks because of this issue, but again, I just wish it would have been dealt with when I brought it up.
Other than that, I'd still recommend it if you want a less "tourist" experience.
