Welcome to your vacation home in the heart of Wine Country! This property has something for everyone in your crew, whether its a dip in the pool or hot tub, a short walk to nearby award-winning wineries and restaurants, or just taking in the breath-taking views!
The home is located on a 5-acre vineyard within the famous Golden Mile and the place is all yours. The home has been recently renovated and boasts:
- a new kitchen, bathroom, and flooring
- bedrooms situated at different ends of the home to offer privacy
- TVs with Netflix in bedrooms
- private heated pool and "just added" new Calspa hot tub (available from Mar 1. 2024)
-full-sized crib and high chair available for use by little ones

This was the perfect place for 2 days of relaxing after some tough hiking in the Selkirks. We loved the open plan arrangement and having many different places for people to sit to read their books. We loved the pool and the views. So chill.There was a cleaning snaffu on arrival which the Host dealt with very quickly and made it right with us for the inconvenience. I will just add that the listing doesn’t note that the third bedroom is in the basement without a proper window which was a real ‘short straw’ for those that ended up in it (my husband and me!). It doesn’t look like any other guests have had an issue with that though, which is great.

Merlot House

This was our second time staying at Merlot House. The home is beautiful, pool and view are great. Unfortunately this trip, the neighbouring property had a loud bird deterrent cannon/gun going off every 5-10 minutes from 7:15 a.m. until 9 p.m., which really impacted our ability to relax and enjoy our trip. We weren’t given a heads up about this, and I understand from Emma that the noise is because it is cherry season. We did not receive a rate adjustment for this. We would not stay again at this time of year.

Golf Girls

Eight ladies spent two nights on our way to Christina Lake, golfed Fairview mountain and did wine tasting at Hester Creek. This VRBO could not have been more perfect for our group. Great location, lovely pool all in all an amazing place. We highly recommend it.

Great for large groups!

Very nice house and amenities! Loved hanging out outside on the grass with the beautiful view. We were a group of 6 firefighters staying here with another 4-8 visiting at various times while we attended a weekend training seminar. The house was comfortable for us all to hang out and socialize. We made dinner for us all and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The layout of the house was great with the rooms spaced throughout to give more privacy. Location was also perfect with it being private and close to Oliver. Would definitely come back again and recommend to others!

Picture Perfect

Absolutely amazing! The pool was perfect and had views for days. House was beautiful and comfortable. Photos didn't do it justice, the place was so spectacular we didnt even bother leaving much for our whole visit. The hosts were super responsive and friendly. We will definitely be booking again next year!

Oliver birthday weekend

The best vrbo or short term rental I have ever stayed at. Modern home, great amenities, lots of space and great views. We had 10 people up, was easy to cook and have group meals. Hot tub was a nice addition. Would 100% look to book again for a family vacation or with friends.
