Have been getting away to Kissimmee for 40 years, , hour away from home, staying at laid back economy Properties. Mostly centered around Old Town for fun and ease. Seen a lot come and go, Made a recent change with Vacation Village for a little more money, but soo much more Quality and options! Everything top notch👍, many perks and special touches and just a truly wonderful stay and environment. Have a new upper scale, safe, and truly lovely resort! Will not even look for anything better, from check in to check out and staff great! Did not get to even experience all offered, but looking forward to next time!!

What I did not like is this was booked as a reserve and pay at the hotel, the card that was used to reserve the room only was not the card to be used when actually checking in…but sure enough 10am the day of checking the card was charged anyway. Very frustrating, so I am not likely to book this hotel again.

Absolutely loved staying at Village at Parkway. The property was very clean and had many amenities. No issues with noise. Restaurants and grocery stores were near by. The proximity to Disney parks was ideal. Overall, very pleased. Will definitely be staying here again.

I complained about the fact that I thought the kitchen had a full stove and needed an oven to cook a meal, but the staff member appeared quite uninterested and said that I could get a room upgrade if I paid for it. I had no idea. I had VIP benefits that would have allowed me a room upgrade. Even though I purchased food to cook, I had to then spend money again to get takeout. The other thing was the location of the room. Every window looked out onto the parking lot and I had to keep the blinds closed for privacy. It was also very noisy. There was something wrong with the sofa bed. It seemed stuck when I tried to open it and was a difficult task. The following morning, I couldn’t even get it to close and had to leave it open. I couldn’t get the thermostat to adjust and so I had to call maintenance. I found out that the AC for my unit was controlled by the “A“ unit and the maintenance person had to (unfortunately) ask that guest to adjust their temperature to suit me! Getting a luggage cart was also very awkward and arduous as you had to go through an outside door, use your key to get back through the door while trying to hold the door open to bring the heavy cart through which made a whole lot of noise on the tiled floor hallway back to the room. I’m not sure whether I would stay here again. It wasn’t an enjoyable stay and I also don’t feel as though my patronage was valued or appreciated.
