We have a great stay. Staff was nice and the facilites were clean and had everything you need if you forgot anything at home. So solid party room had even more space than we needed. It was amazing! Right across from universal just a short walk across the street. Would return definitely if I come back to Universal Japan!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Universal Port! This wasn’t our first visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. The hotel is consistently clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with friendly staff who make everything easy. The rooms are spacious and perfect for families, and the location is great—right on the doorstep of Universal Studios Japan and Universal City. Every stay here feels smooth and stress-free. We’ve stayed before and will happily stay again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting USJ or the Osaka Bay area!

Room bed and bathroom were big and comfortable, more like a U.S. hotel. Handy for USJ which is why we stayed (just 2 nights). Staff were friendly. Housekeeping were very good. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the laundry because the driers don’t work properly. They don’t get hot and everyone was having problems drying clothes. They are 200 yen for 30 mins and I did it 4 times before giving up and hanging in the room to finish. Would stay again but wouldn’t use the Laundry :).

The food was great they even had cream filled croissants and soft serve ice-cream, lots of statues of minions from Despicable Me all dressed up for whatever holiday came next. We came in early November and we got to see Halloween and Christmas 🎄 it was an overall great experience, lots of fun decor and a lounge with ice-cream bars highly recommended.

The hotel is a stone's throw away from the train station and USJ. The Citywalk nearby also provides shopping, food and convenience stores. The room is clean but no plastic bottled water, you will have to fill up your own jar at the water dispenser at the end of the corridor. Room is spacious with a separate bathroom and toilet. However the mattresses are a tad hard. Breakfast buffet was kinda lacking for the price (around 3k+ yen). Overall, a pleasant experience.
