Caring, friendly staff all around from reception, housekeeping, until breakfast. Great, functional room layout despite small size so it felt spacious nevertheless. Hearty breakfast. Very close to Shinsaibashi subway and main shopping street, as well as eateries.

Good basic hotel in an area with lots of shopping options and close to the metro station. The hotel is somewhat awkwardly located requiring an elevator to access the lobby from street level but should not be an issue for most people.

Cheap and conveniently located accommodation with typical Japanese amenities (cramped, bathtub, toiletries, housekeeping etc). Value for money with the breakfast included. However room have poor soundproofing and I could hear the next door tv or people walking outside. Overall, I would stay again for the price.

After reading so many hotel reviews, so happy we chose to stay at Via Inn Shinsaibashi. Great location and so close to Dotonbori (minus the noise). We are going to USJ and Kyoto. The hotel let us leave our big luggages for free until we come back for a second stay. Great service! Highly recommended.
