Adequate if you aren't fussy

I have stayed here in the past because its location is convenient and very reasonable priced. But it is a motel and it's old. Rooms are adequate for my needs but nothing close to luxury. Several of the electrical outlets don't work - my devices did not charge overnight. They only have step-in tubs with minimal safety bars. And there are things that need repair - towel bars are missing, for instance, and the broken pieces still remain in the wall. WiFi is reliable. And they leave coffee and snacks in the room but what adult drinks grape juice. But, as I said, it's convenient and economical for me and I'm willing to make the sacrifices for my bare-bones stay.

Great place to stay for Stanford appointment

I had a surgery scheduled at Stanford in the early morning, so I wanted to be somewhat close. The room was cozy, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. The only thing that I noticed was that the desk in the room needed refinishing because it had a lots of scrapes and looked beat up. Everything else was great!

Nice Place to Stay

Our room was clean and neat. We didn't need housekeeping except to get more towels, and that was no problem. It was quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Reasonable price for Palo Alto on non busy weekend

Good value with reasonable amenities for the price. Room with two beds had microwave and a good sized refrigerator. Good location as we needed something in Palo Also not too far from Stanford for the weekend trip. Main negative was top storage drawer 1 of 3, was broken. Also TV wasn't working or configurable. Hence the 4 stars not 5. However they did fix the next day after we complained. The Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. Bathroom was clean and so were the beds. Carpet was so so but acceptable. We were only there to sleep mainly so did not matter as much. They also were able to extend out checkout upon request as it was not as busy (Sunday). The hotel occupancy seemed pretty high throughout.

This was our first stay here. Being a Stanford patient sometimes hotels can be so expensive in Palo Alto. Well now we have found a new hotel we will be staying at. This one!! Staff was super nice, welcoming, informative. Thank you for a nice stay.
