Book a hotel near Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe

"I loved this place. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Cabin was exactly as shown with plenty of space for our family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have needed. The fire pit was great with plenty of seating and same with the deck. The community pool and lake were beautiful and everyone was friendly. They had volleyball, tennis, basketball, bocce and shuffleboard courts as well as a playground by the pool. There were deer every where which we all enjoyed. One walked right behind the fire pit trees while we were starting a fire, it was awesome! I also loved having laundry on site; coming home with clean clothes was such a bonus. The beds were ok but less firm than we like. We were close enough to town that we stopped there each morning to try the different coffee/tea shops before going on day trips. We loved the scenic railroad trip and 100 mile viewing area. We took day trips to Scranton and Hickory Run State Park. I would highly recommend Boulder Field and the Shades of Death Trail in the State Park. It was a great stay and we hope to come back again to see everything we missed. "
