Experience a charming vintage home apartment at the back of a Spa! Nestled in a quant tourist village, with antique shops, artisans, chocolatiers, craft brewing and more. Very close to Stratford (11minutes) and surrounding local attractions. A stunning 1 acre backyard overlooking farmlands with a hammock for two, nestled under the maple trees. Enjoy a cozy stay or add on spa treatments for an ultimate experience. Host Sherry, who lives in a separate part of the home, transformed part of the space where she raised her children into a serene getaway for others to enjoy.

You will experience the charm of an old vintage home, with warm, soothing colours that will feel like an embrace. A mix of vintage with a touch of modern makes our space unique. A state of the art reverse osmosis with additional LED light for water filtration and treatment makes it a wonderful option to drink clean safe water right from the tap! An older kitchen, but with modern amenities filled with everything you need to create a meal, will make you feel right at home. A large dining table to play games, share a meal, or just sit and have a drink. The boho style bedroom with a large window, offers you the most beautiful view while snuggled into bed, the peaceful feeling of “getting away from it all” will come over you. (A Sofa will be added in the fall) Outdoor large patio sectional is a wonderful option as well.
You can capture the gorgeous sunsets, the rustling leaves on the large maple trees, and the twinkling lights that hang from them all from bed. We seem to have a bunny that likes to come out around sunset and snack on the clover on the lawn outside that window!
On cool nights, the gas fireplace will light which creates an additional glow while snuggled into the bedroom. The warm summer days and evenings are a perfect time to hang out in the spacious covered patio, or play some lawn games or just sit and take in the views of the backyard.
It’s a unique property that can feel like you’re in the country all while you’re still inside a little village. We may have some rustic parts, and we may have areas to continue to work on around this 1902 building but we certainly have so much warmth, charm and personality!

Another wonderful amenity is the attached spa, wellness and treatment centre where you can arrange treatments during your stay!

With only being a 12 minute drive to Stratford, or 20 minutes to Kitchener/Waterloo you are in the perfect Central location to do it all.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Close open windows. Turn off kitchen fireplace, and lights. If you want to take your own trash out it must be bagged and tied- goes in black lid bin, recycling & garbage bins behind fence near gate.
Put all used towels, tea towels and robes/slippers in wicker basket in bedroom.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Patio noise to a minimum/regular during spa hours (no loud music/shouting). Noise is fine in the backyard and on Fri-Sun late afternoon/evenings.
No cooking strong-smelling/odor foods like fish or curries (ex.) Odors can affect the spa environment and the next guests.
Respect between neighbours yard boundaries - no fences- horseshoe pits are ours as farthest boundary in width of property to other side is our hammock
