Amazing hotel, you’d be foolish not to book.

The Trivoli Kopke is an amazing stay. While people generally choose the stay in the old town I would strongly recommend the Trivoli Kopke. The staff are incredibly friendly and serve a tasty port on arrival - always a good start to any stay! The rooms are modern and clean - granted the hotel is very new and it shows! Getting to the old town is easy with a cable car that takes you to the top of the Louis Bridge from the hotel. The pool facilities are good and the views of the old town from the rooms are amazing. And, it was an absolute bargain through the Hotels.com app/site! I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and beautiful design, but service needs attention. The hotel is in a fantastic location — close enough to explore Porto easily, but far enough away to enjoy a sense of calm when returning. The interior design throughout is stunning: contemporary, stylish, and filled with interesting artwork. Our room was modern and thoughtfully designed, with a very comfortable bed. The shower has an open design without a door; it didn’t bother us, but it may be worth noting for others. Where the hotel falls short is service. The pool bar was slow and inconsistent, and the main bar, while pleasant, lacked atmosphere and service was again slow — we were even forgotten about a couple of times when settling the bill. At the Sky Bar, the views are wonderful, but service was hit-and-miss with occasional incorrect drinks and long waits. Housekeeping was variable: our room was cleaned only 3 out of 5 days, and turndown was provided on 4 of the 5 days (though once it was offered unusually early, before the daily clean). All of the staff we met were very friendly, but service needs to mature and become more consistent if the hotel is to deliver the exceptional experience its setting and design promise.

Very nice new hotel. Good size room with nice decor, bedding etc. Great pool with lovely views of Porto over the river. Quick walk down to the restaurants along the river at Gaia and easy access to Porto over the bridge. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast was fantastic The only thing I found unsatisfying was indoor pool times and I guess you require reservations because for two days it was fully booked so never got to use it Gym was great too I just couldn’t find cloths to clean the machine after using it
