I've stayed here for years but it has been on decline. I assumed when I reserved and checked in all rooms were non-smoking. I was not asked at the desk my smoking preference and was given a smoking room. I complained about it in the morning. They said that bookings from third party providers are assigned smoking rooms by default and that if I want to specify a non-smoking I should use the Motel 6 directly. Non-smoking rooms are an industry standard. Also housekeeping freshened up the room at my request and threw away a change of my clothes that I left on the floor. $30 loss.

I reserved a non smoking room. When I got the the property I was given a smoking room. I asked for one that was non smoking and was told they had none available and they were sold out of non smoking before I made the reservation for non smoking. The site should have told me it was sold out and I could have gone elsewhere. However I was unable to change hotels because there were no other rooms in the city at the late notice once I discovered I had to be in a smelly room. Employee was unhelpful and there were not really any amenities available. I will say one positive is that the bathrooms were modern and clean. Everything was aged and I felt the need to take all our personal clothes and blankets that were taken into the room and threw them straight into the washing machine when we returned home. I will not be staying at this or any Motel 6 again.

Checked in with the promise of a smoke free room. They checked us into a smoked up room. The cigarette smell was so bad. They said they could not promise a smoke free room ever. There were clearly ashtrays in the room we were in. After charging us an extra 50.00 for a hospitality fee we got a smoke free room. Motel 6 never again. Very upsetting. Don't try to save money with a cheap hotel. Not worth the heart ache of it.

Place is not much to look at outside. It looks old and worn out. But service was good, and my room had been recently remodeled and was really clean. Seemed like the mattress had recently been replaced and the TV was a newer model. Channel selection was limited and when I tried the WiFi (even though they said it was free) it was pay $4.99 or ?
