We had a late check in which turned out to be a self service check in. It went really smooth and the room was nice, clean and quiet. We didn't meet the staff until next morning, but overall it was a great experience. Would stay here again!

The thing to remember about this hotel is that you have to look at everything through the prism of "but it's Radium". Radium is a popular tourist trap, yes, but it's also extremely small and dated. It's not like Banff or Whistler. There's a few modern businesses, but almost everything else in the town predates the Trudeau era. The first one. So with that said, this hotel is actually fairly charming. It's old, it's kinda small, and the carpets on the stairs and the balcony hallways smell like dog pee and crystal meth (maybe from the same dog, not judging), but it does what you need a hotel to do. Beds are very comfortable, and the AC works very well despite the noise. Bathroom was recently renovated, albeit by someone who had never renovated a bathroom before (and never should again) but the effort was there and the materials were at least clean and new. Nearby restaurants are walkable and the area is very private and quiet. Don't expect it to live up to the photos on line, but at the end of the day you'll get a good sleep and that's all that matters.

I like the area coz it is close to everything. The room was clean and I like that there are two air-conditioning. One in the living room and the other one in the room.

Was charming but is now alarming - this was our second stay at this motel. About 5 years ago we stayed here and thought it was charming. Clean, welcoming and with decent amenities. (Free breakfast and outdoor BBQ area) August 2025 was a different experience. Outdoor area is now the smoking area, (think high school smoke pit) cigarette ash on the tables, broken chairs, (the seat of the chairs ripped clean out, unusable) full ashtrays on the tables- that space was unsuitable for anyone much less children. Our room smelled so bad we had to go buy an air freshener. Tub faucet was missing pieces and was difficult to now use. The beds were worn and hard. And many other minor annoyances. (Dirty dishes in the drawers, “dish soap” that was something other than, shampoo dispenser was empty.) I know there are other budget friendly options in the area, we will make use of them next time. We will not be staying here ever again.

It was an okay place to stay. We were here 3 nights and 2 of them we had to park out on the street. If you aren’t back by supper it seemed, you would not get a parking spot. The room was clean. The shower was awesome. The people upstairs were stompers so kind of annoying. We were gone all day until evening so didn’t spend much time there.

When we arrived our bathroom had a strong smell of urine. I sent a message to ask for a different room, however they were full so they could not accommodate, and offered to come clean the bathroom. While I appreciated their quick response, the smell did not go away. The outside was nice and the bbq and tables and chairs were a nice feature, but I would not recommend this place nor would I stay here again.
