Gables is a good option for a short stay. The rooms are clean though a little compact in size. There is open space outside the rooms to eat/drink or simply chill. The host Tom was very helpful and shared a lot of information regarding the activities around the area. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a short and budget friendly stay.

It was a very hot day and the air conditioning could have worked better. However, our stay was great and it is a very nice town.

The best part about the Gables is the staff. We've stayed multiple times and this time found it a little dirty, mostlt the bathroom. This hotel would be perfect with a few little updates.

There was no air conditioning so the tiny room was very hot. They provided a fan but it was super noisy so kept me up most of the night. I rented room 3 but I got room 1 and since that was the smoking area I couldn't even open my window to let some air in. No ice machine either so had to ask for ice but felt bad so never asked for more.

The photos of this property are misleading and do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the accommodations. The door was flimsy and lacked a deadbolt, and both the property and the rooms were quite dated, showing clear signs of wear and a need for repairs and renovations. For the price being charged, I expected significantly better quality. I also expect more from Expedia in terms of ensuring property photos are a true representation and providing transparency around the sources of reviews.

Place was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is very very old and run down. I did not feel I got value for money. Stayed there because it was a halfway point of a journey but would not stay again.

This place is like walking into the 70s. But in a fantastic way. It's cute. It feels like you're visiting grandma. It's clean, very friendly staff. The flowers and lights make for charm. The area is beautiful, and the day was perfect. The only thing i would suggest is an update on the carpet. ♡

This was our second stay here, and it’s officially our go-to place from now on. The property is spotless, peaceful, and everyone we’ve met has been so welcoming. The views are stunning, and on both visits we’ve been lucky enough to spot wildlife up close. I especially love the outdoor setup—chairs and tables right outside each room where you can relax and soak in the scenery. The beds and bedding are incredibly comfortable, and the charging station in the room is such a thoughtful touch—I haven’t seen one like it anywhere else I’ve stayed.
