The staff were very friendly, it was easy to find and to park, and a comfortable bed. The rooms are very dated, and the biggest problem is not being able to control the temperature in the room. It was way too hot. There is an air conditioner but in December you need to be able to lower the heat. The windows do actually open which helped a bit. It's not far off the highway but not really walkable to anywhere other than the park across the road. Great view of the lake though.

Basic room
A good overnight stay. Check in friendly and efficient. We had a balcony room so you drive around the building and walk into your room. A basic room. Very firm bed. Nice view, with balcony and yes, you can open a window for fresh air. It does have a microwave and fridge/freezer which is handy. TV is satellite and not easy to navigate. No counter in washroom, just the sink. Hood pressure for shower. Clean. The one issue they have to rectify is the heating. We were there in the winter. It has baseboard electric which is fine but to control it you have to get on your hands and knees and adjust it on the heater itself. You cannot tell if you are increasing or decreasing heat because it has been painted over. Please connect and put controls on the wall. The price is right for an overnight stay.

Very nice!
Very nice privately owned inn. Reception area (and person) bright and cheery. Not a new place, but nicely updated. Very comfortable and clean. Small frigde, microwave, coffee pot, and pot to warm water for tea were provided too. A friend and I were there just a couple nights when we attended two concerts at Casino Rama. Easy nine minute drive from the casino. I would recommend as well as stay there again. Lake Simcoe is just across the street! Oh and I noticed a nice park and playground within walking distance.
