The room was super clean and the most comfortable that we've stayed in. Can't say enough good things about the breakfast. It was included and delicious. All kinds of fresh pastries, fruit, meats, cheese... With an attentive staff restocking constantly. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed for two nights before our cruise and again after our cruise. The staff was phenomenal. They arranged our transportation from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport. They suggested restaurants, they stored our luggage, they gave great advice on where to visit and on the Hop On Hop Off bus service, purchased tickets for us. The list goes on and on. The staff made our trip so much better because of all their help.

Great hotel

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Would definitely recommend. Our flight landed at 5:00 am. By 9:00 we were in our room with with a full belly by using the early check in option that comes with breakfast. We enjoyed strolling in the garden/park area across the road and felt safe even at night.

This a very clean a new hotel about a 20-25 min walk from downtown Reykjavík. Easy convinient parking if you have a rental car and very reasonably priced, given it's not located in the city center. Full complementary breakfast buffet is available for guests every morning.

Unexpectedly awesome area for how far it was from the center of town--close to sports arena/facilities, zoo, playground, botanical gardens and an easy bus ride to the heart of Reykjavik. Room was tiny and bathroom was tiny. Shades didn't completely block out light.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We arrived early because of our flight and were able to check in early (with a small fee). The room was kind of small, but it had a window that opened and was very clean and quiet. The bathroom was nice and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was great! It was not what we were used to, and that's what made it so good. The first morning there was herring! The dining area filled up quickly so be aware of that. The bar was small, but there were several barstools and a good variety of drinks. We enjoyed their happy hour on both evenings of our stay. I recommend staying at Reykjavik Lights, especially if you are going on a cruise.

Tiny but clean

Clean and efficient. Lack of elevator access to room 317. Required carrying luggage up a flight of stairs. Very! small room. Could easily hear others in the hall and nearby. I'll find a different place next time.
