The host responded very quickly to my concerns. He was even willing to accommodate early check-in as we had a family wedding in the area. The home was true to its listing. The scenery was beautiful all around us!

Wasp infestation on second floor. Uninhabitable!!! Rented for my son’s wedding. The second floor was infested with more downstairs. RUINED our planned stay for our family. We spent over three hours on the phone with host and Vrbo trying to find somewhere to stay for everyone along with a dog. WHAT AN AVOIDABLE MESS!! No Vrbo available for same day rental. HUGE STRESSOR the day before my son’s wedding.SHAME ON THE HOST & VRBO!!!

Overall, the house was very nice and the location was perfect. However, there were some maintenance and cleanliness issues that need attention: the toilets were slow to fill, there was no designated place for full trash bags, the kitchen chairs were in need of repair, the blinds were dusty, the top of the fireplace was dirty, and there were numerous cobwebs throughout.

The house was simply amazing and beautiful it felt like a home for the weekend the kids enjoyed the stay. Steve was quick to answer any questions we had and gave us recommendations to go swimming which we went to the Cleburne state park it was beautiful as well. I stayed here with my teenage daughter for a nice little weekend getaway. Amazing property! Beautiful home and quiet neighborhood. We went to hamm creek park and went fishing. The scenery was gorgeous. Will definitely stay here again.

Out in the middle of Nowhere!

Our niece was getting married in Blum so we found this place to stay. Cute little place. Host were great and place was enough for the 4 of us. If we ever need to be in Rio Vista again, I am sure we will look this place up. Beautiful country!
