Family Rome trip

The apartment location was fantastic. About 1.5 blocks from the St. Peter basilica. Lots of dinning options within walking distance. The apartment had everything you would need to cook and even had a washer. Just don’t run the washer and all the room AC units or you overload the breaker.

Pros: The apartment was large enough to accommodate our family of 5. 2 bathrooms was a huge plus. Has AC in each room, and a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The location was perfect, easy 20 min walk from the Vatican, and 30+ mins from most tourist sites. There is a bus stop in front of the apartment. Lovely restaurants within walking distance to choose from on the same street. We ate at a different restaurant every night. Also a mini market a few mins away. Cons: Communication with the host and property owner stopped after the second day. We received a security deposit notice on the 2nd day AFTER we checked in. The door to the apartment is not the easiest to open, please ask the host to show you how to open the door with the key before they leave. We were locked out for 10 mins at 22:00 on the 2nd night and tried calling and texting the host, received no answer, tried to contact the host for a few days after inquiring about other amenties listed on their site but all Communication stopped. Very disappointing. The apartment is on a busy street so leaving the patio door open for fresh air can be challenging as the street noise is very loud (honking, mopeds, and ambulances all day).

Enjoyable stay

Excellent location, it is very closed to Vatican city, St Pater Square, so we just walked back to the apartment after the mid-night mass. There are restaurants and supermarket nearby. The apartment is clean and spacious. Macro who do registration, is nice and helpful. He provided useful information including baggage storage and site seeing info. We stay three nights this time and would select this apartment if we visit Rome again.
