What a disappointment. This place is not a real hotel, just a couple of rooms in an old building. There’s no elevator all the way up, so get ready to carry your luggage through narrow stairs. When we got to our room, the pillows smelled like ginger, probably from the previous guest’s breath — truly unpleasant.
The room doesn’t match the pictures online at all. Light came through a window early in the morning, so forget about sleeping in. There’s even a 40 cm ramp to get to the washroom — uncomfortable and poorly designed.
Since this isn’t an actual hotel, don’t expect anyone to be there if you arrive early, late, or need anything during your stay. They make sure to charge you the full amount as soon as you arrive, and after that, you’re on your own.
For the price they charge, this is a complete ripoff. I understand Rome can be expensive, but this place feels like a scam. Spend your money somewhere else — there are plenty of real hotels in Rome that actually deliver what they promise.
