Cozy Apartment - Walking Distance from Navona and Vatican

Renovated apartment of 70 sq.m., located on the 1st floor of an historic building protected by Italian Ministry of Culture, with independent access door from a small and pedestrian street. The low ceiling, typical of this type of apartments, called "mezzanini", give it a charm and make it welcoming.
From the window, in the main bedroom, the apartment offer to visitors, a special view on the street that runs through the history of the renaissance Rome.

Family run, with years of experience.
Careful cleaning and sanitation. Bed linen and towels are provided by a professional laundry. Washed at high temperature and sanitized.
Hand sanitizer, disinfectant for surfaces available to our guests.

A few wooden steps lead to the apartment level.
Two bedrooms with a standard queen size bed (1.90x1.60 cm) no convertible in single bed, memory mattresses e pillows.
Two bathroom with a shower and bidet.
Lliving room with fully equipped kitchen corner (fridge, toaster, oven, electric fires, electric kettle), table and chairs.
Double sofa bed (french size) in the living room it is perfect for two children or yungs. We do not suggest it for adults.

Note please something which could disturb some: a structural beam which makes low the ceiling of the kitchen in a specific point. This building was built in 1700s : charme and minor inconveniences.

La localisation est parfaite pour sortir le soir. Il faut prĂ©ciser cependant que l'appartement est au dessus d'un restaurant avec la terrasse sous la fenĂȘtre et les groupes de musique aussi. C'est trĂšs bruyant le soir jusqu'au rangement des terrasses. Le matin on entend bien les voisins du dessus ... Les lits sont confortables mais le reste aurait besoin d'ĂȘtre rafraichi, ce n'est pas trĂšs propre. Le couloir est particulier, on s'y cogne la tĂȘte, c'est bas de plafond et avec des marches...ça marche pour un court sĂ©jour

Appartement idĂ©alement placĂ© en plein coeur de Rome, Ă  100m de la Place Navona, trĂšs proche du Vatican, du Pantheon, de la fontaine de TrĂ©vi. ExtrĂȘmement pratique pour visiter Rome Ă  pied. Parking Ă  proximitĂ© pour laisser sa voiture. Appartement propre avec climatisation efficace, bonne literie. Petit dĂ©tail : il ne faut pas ĂȘtre trop grand.. ! les plafonds sont bas !

Appartement idéalement trÚs bien situé (visites)

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine au sein de cet appartement (4 personnes adultes), qui est trÚs fonctionnel et qui est trÚs bien situé ( restaurants, commerces, pizzerias, place Navone, quartier trÚs animé ). A savoir que les visites se font sans difficulté à pied à partir de cet appartement hormis ostia antica ou on a pris le bus 30 à cÎté de la place Navone jusqu'a pyramide, ensuite la ligne ferroviaire Lido Roma (compter 1h00) . Nous avons été trÚs bien accueilli , et on remercie la copropriétaire qui s'est occupé de nos transferts aller retour à l'aéroport ainsi que la possibilité de laisser l'appartement à 12h00 au lieu de 10h00. Je recommande cet appartement et remercie encore Olivia et souhaite revenir à Rome ou c'est un musée à ciel ouvert et apprécie la générosité des italiens. FERRANTE Richard

Fit the description perfectly so there were no surprises. I’m 6’-4” tall and managed just fine with the lower bulkhead. Location Wes central to many places which made it very convenient. Will rent again for sure if we make it back to Roma!

Location of this property is excellent. Right in the middle of Vatican and Roman Forum - both walkable within 20-25 minutes. It’s on a busy cobblestone street full of restaurants and shops, so it’s safe even at night. The home is quite functional
 we didn’t have much issues with anything major. We had a great experience overall. We have a few minor suggestions for the owner to make it an even better experience for other tourists-- please keep it well stocked with basic supplies like paper towel rolls, garbage bags rolls, kitchen utensils like spatulas, cooking pots, etc. Last thing one wants to do on a vacation is run out of paper towels (there were just a few) or not have right utensils to do some cooking. - bathroom doors should have locksLittle things apart, it’s a great apartment if location and safety are your top priorities.

Good Location issues with hot water

The location of this apartment was very conducive to being able to walk to the Vatican, and other locations. The VRBO host was very helpful. There were issues with little to no hot water for most of the stay. The VRBO host did hire a plumber to accomplish repairs, however there were issues with the water heater that could not be fully resolved during our stay. The water pressure for cold water was exceptional, however the water pressure for the warm water was not much more than a trickle.

Lovely home in the center of Rome.

OlĂ­via was a wonderful and attentive host and the apartment was perfect for my wife and I and our teenage daughter. The location is ideal with wonderful dining options literally out the front door. All the sites of Rome are within an easy walking distance and the immediate neighborhood is a great area to decompress after a day of touring. We had some minor issues but Olivia was great in helping us get them resolved ASAP. Always the sign of a great host.

Best location in Rome

The apartment was very clean and the location was incredible. All the major sites within walking distance. The description of the property was accurate - so be sure to read it. It does have some low ceilings, but is typical and expected for the period. I recommend looking at Google maps (street view) before your stay to familiarize yourself self with the location. We found the location with no problem by doing that. We knew exactly where it was when we arrived (the alley between two restaurants) I can’t say enough about the location - Located on a charming street with restaurants, cafes and markets. Absolutely loved our stay here. Would love to stay here again.

Perfectly located with friendly host

The apartment is perfectly located very closely to Piazza navona. For a family trying to get a sense of Rome, it's a perfect spot and quiet enough to get some rest. There are many excellent restaurants very close by. The apartment itself is charming with a few little intricacies, which didn't bother us. Was very flexible and forthcoming. We would come back anytime.

Great location!

This apartment is in a great location that overlooks a charming street full of cute shops and lots of options for food. The listing is accurate—as noted there are some short ceilings but this was not an issue as we were aware and were careful in those places. Olivia was a great host, was responsive, and helped secure a very early morning airport transfer for us which was very appreciated. We had a great stay!

We arrived and check in was very easy. I can not fault the hosts speed in answering and sorting any problems we had. We had a few teething issues , there is building work going on till 2025 with the building opposite. The first morning work started early around 7am. The host and other people in the building complained and the local police stopped this. They should start at 9am so would not really be a problem as like us we are up early to explore. (7am was a little early) we had issues with the shower heads not working and that day the host came and replaced them with no problems. We enjoyed the location and the restaurants below are great but can be noisy if you are an early to bed person.

Cosy and convenient

Three ladies keen to explore Rome. The apartment was perfectly placed for our needs with plenty of lovely restaurants on the doorstep as well as mini markets. It may be a bit noisy if you have small children but the double glazing was very effective.

Old Rome

Very difficult to locate the apartment. Even the taxi driver couldn’t find it and just dropped us at the corner. The apartment is located at an alley behind a restaurant. Good insulated windows from noice at main street but very noisy from above floor, and those neighbors enjoy loud music until midnight! No soap in the bathrooms !!! Just ONE tiny package of body wash P/p for 3 days we stayed there. Very low ceilings, not good for told people! The location was great !! Walkable to main attractions in Rome. You have to take your garbage out every day!!!
