"The menu and restaurant staff were outstanding. Reception showed us to our room which was unexpected but much appreciated. The room was quaint, the electrics a bit of a mystery, but the hotel itself shone in all its Georgian glory."

"Staff were all very friendly and provided exceptional service. Rooms were clean and bright. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to rooms with windows. Everything was excellent. Be more than happy to stay again. Breakfast was also exceptional 😋 "

"The room in the lodge was clean and comfortable. It is a little worn in places, but everything worked. The room was a little small, like a caravan bedroom, but fine for us. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was nice. There was just continental breakfast to choose from in the morning, but there was plenty and it was nice food. We ate in the restaurant twice, the food was lovely, enough choices and definately value for money compared to others in the local area. Especially if you choose from the set menu. The local setting was beautiful. We didn't walk into bath but used the local bus, leaving our car in the car park. Ensure you read the terms and conditions re paying the deposit for your stay on arrival and also the £10 per stay car parking fee. For our 3 night stay, this was fine. We found that the sat nav kept trying to take us over the toll bridge even when chose, avoid tolls, so beware to check the direction maps is taking you, if you don't want to pay the charge. You can park on the main road for free if prefer."

"Great location and nice hotel but not a 5 star. The concierge and doorman were the best staff members, very helpful and nice but others we interacted with were not great, especially in the bar and restaurant. The spa and thermal waters were nice but very crowded. "
