The spacious apartment sleeps 8 guests boasting a 180 degree lake view over the island of Comacina located in sun kissed Sala, one of the most sought after villages here on Lake Como. Residence Sala Comacina (apartment 4) affords breathtaking lake views inside, expertly constructed boasting ample space for large families or groups to relax and unwind in comfort. Take in the spectacular views from your private terrace or balcony and watch the sunrise as your breakfast to the lake and mountain backdrop, top of your tan or sip and aperitif on the luxury garden furniture at sunset. Alternatively, unwind at either the shared outdoor pool open in summer or at the indoor the communal spa, pool and sauna at the residence open 365 days a year.



The home features four bedrooms plus three bathrooms, two of which are ensuite.

Access to the indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna is completely private as guests are granted two x 1 hour and 30 minutes slots daily so you can enjoy the facilities entirely to yourself for complete tranquility and relaxation.

The home is conveniently located to reach the village of Sala Comacina with its pretty lake front and typical italian village life. Guests enjoy the stroll to the lake to dine and enjoy delicious local italian dishes and wonderful wines. Sala is home to an excellent wine bar, superb butcher with the freshest cuts, bakery and convenience store and cafe bars. In less than 5 minutes walk from the property you can reach a lido with beach volley, basketball area, 5-a-side football, restaurant and beach.

In Sala Comacina there is another beach and a ferry station with a taxi boat to the island.

Plus some excellent restaurants serving delicious italian fayre such as La Tirlindana, the one on the island, Taverna Bleu, etc..

The location of the residence means you are just a short drive to Lenno for the beach, ferry and supermarket. Less than 5 minutes by car. Just a few of the highlights our guests love include Villa Balbianello, 007 Casino Royale. Como city, 30 minutes from the residence, Bellagio, just a ferry ride away. The cable car to Pigra with breathtaking views over Como is less than a 10 minute drive. Mountaineers and cyclists will enjoy the majestic mountains to explore. Further afield, trips to the glitzy town San Moritz are popular or for the more adventurous, Monte Generoso offers mountain top and lake scenery that a sight to behold. The city of Milan is just an hours drive as is outlet shopping at Fox Town in Mendrisio over the Swiss border.

Beautiful view

Thoroughly enjoyed the views from the villa. We did quite a bit of travel around the area so having a car was a necessity for us. Wish we had more time to spend in the spa on the property !

Wonderful apartment - wonderful location

Everything stated about the apartment holds up. The aparment is perfect for 8 people, great indoors facilities (kitchen could need a brush up on utilities - expect to improvise if you cook yourself), great terrasse with perfect view. Great surroundings - nice location with good restaurestaurants. Also good starting point for going hiking or running. Perfect service at check-in and out. Thanks Matteo.

Spacious with amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay. There was lots of space, the apartment was amazing, well equipped, we had everything we needed. Views over the village to the lake were amazing too. The only negative point I can make was that the beds were really firm! The owner gave us lots of useful info when we arrived. If we did it again, I'd hire a small car (the roads are very narrow in places) because the buses were often late and / or full, and taxis not always available. All the local restaurants were fantastic. Loved the pool, sauna and hot tub.

Tolle Location mit traumhaftem Blick auf den See

Der Check-In verlief bei uns Anfangs per What’s App Nachrichten. Diese waren teilweise mit einem Video verbunden, so dass wir auch ohne Host sofort in die Wohnung konnten. Matteo als Host ist superfreundlich und man nimmt ihm den Satz “ich bin im Fall der Fälle 24 Stunden für Sie erreichbar.” ab. Tolle Tipps, Freundlichkeit und perfekt vorbereitet - so passt alles. Danke nochmals an Matteo! Die Wohnung ist groß und sauber, die Ausstattung gut. Vom großen Kühlschrank mit Eisfach bis zur Espressomaschine ist alles vorhanden. Der Bäcker ist ebenfalls morgens fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Es fehlt ein Sonnenschirm bzw. eine Markise auf der Terasse. Dies ist der einzige Kritikpunkt, den wir für uns anmerken wollen. Die Parkmöglichkeiten in der Tiefgarage sind auch mit einer “Mercedes V-Klasse lang” zu meistern. Am Comer See bewegt man sich am besten per Boot und die Abfahrtstelle ist gerade fünf bis zehn Minuten entfernt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und können das Objekt gerne weiterempfehlen.

The perfect stay.

We loved waking up each morning to gaze at the lake view. The home is modern, clean and was spacious for a family of 8. The pool (inside and out) and spa option is very convenient because even when it rained for a short spell we could use the inside pool. Sala is a quaint village with a lovely lake front with a couple of nice restaurants (Tirlindana was our favourite)as well as a pizzeria, a bakery, park and beach. There is a supermarket 5 minutes from the home and ferry to reach more touristy towns around the lake, but for us Sala was unspoilt and like stepping back in time, which made for a relaxing break, which after the last year of Covid, was just what the doctor ordered. A special mention for Matteo whose tips were invaluable and helped us settled in from the minute we arrived. We will definitely return and have recommended the home to friends.

Wir waren in einem Reihenhaus mit drei Wohnungen und waren in der Mitte untergebracht. Diese Wohnungen verteilen sich auf 3 Ebenen. Die Terrassen wurden lediglich durch Blumentöpfe getrennt.( so hatten wir mit beiden Nachbarn direkten Kontakt) Dadurch hatten wir auch immer zwei Nachbargruppen, welche in unserem Fall zwar sehr nett waren, aber wir hatten uns doch mehr vorgestellt alleine auf unserer Terrasse zu sitzen. Vor allem wenn wir natürlich von beiden Seiten deren Musikgeschmack aufgedrängt bekamen. Eine Aussicht auf den See hatten wir nur von dem oberen Zimmer. Ein Zimmer hatte keine Fenster und zwei Zimmer hatten den Ausblick auf das Haus ( Entfernung ca.1,5mtr) vor uns ( gehört auch zu dieser Anlage) Deswegen hatten wir einen Wechsel der Unterkunft angefragt, was uns abgelehnt wurde mit der Begründung @ das ist der Style des Hauses“ und der Anbieter hat keine alternative Unterkunft ( dafür wurden uns 35 € Wlan Gebühr erlassen) Die Anlage selbst ist nicht sonderlich gepflegt. Eigentlich schade, da wir einer der ersten Gäste ( in dieser Saison) im Haus waren. Den Außenpool konnten wir nicht nutzen ( Corona). In den anderen Anlagenund Hotels wurden die Aussenpools genutzt.( Ehrlichkeit wäre mir lieber gewesen) Eine nochmalige Buchung wird auf keinen Fall stattfinden.

Traumhaft gelegenes Apartment mit allen Annehmlichkeiten

Die über ingesamt vier Etagen verteilte Ferienwohnung ist Teil eines modernen und traumhaft gelegenen Apartment-Komplexes und lässt gerade für Gruppenreisende keine Wünsche offen: Eigene Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf den See; 5 Minuten Fußweg zum See und in den Ort; gut ausgestattete Küche; große Zimmer; Zugang zum hauseigenen Wellnessbereich mit Pool, Whirlpool, Sauna. Die Betten waren ein wenig hart, aber das war für den Großteil der Gruppe kein Problem. Der Ort Sala Comacina ist klein, aber gut gelegen für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Die Kommunikation war jederzeit reibungslos und sowohl Lori als auch Matteo (vor Ort in Sala Comacina) konnten uns mit allen Fragen und Wünschen weiterhelfen. Wir durften sogar - trotz kurzfristiger Anfrage - den normalerweise leer stehenden Raum im Dachgeschoss für einen zusätzlichen Gast nutzen. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Great apartment

Really good apartment, nice facilities downstairs. Gas canister for the kitchen ran out in the middle of the week, but the owner was round within half an hour to fix it.
