Staff was super helpful and happy to accommodate. We were here for wrestling and it didn’t matter what time we left or came back garbages were changed xtra towels given and just a great experience for first time in Sandusky!

2 Star spot close to Cedar Point

We were simply looking for a place to lay our heads after a couple long days at Cedar Point but it barely did that. Pros: Just as the other reviews mentioned, Friendly Staff. - Only interaction was checking in, but he was very friendly. Very close to Cedar Point Ice Machine stayed full despite having no vacancy Cons: Room and the bedsheets had a damp feel to it from the moment we arrived. Maybe due to bad climate control in the room, idk but just felt very gross in there, especially trying to sleep. 2 of the bathroom lights only lit up well after turning the switch on. Either bad connection or bad bulbs but it took about 10 minutes for them to finally light up Too much light entering the room at night. - the drapes didn't block enough of the parking lot lighting blasting through the windows. *In addition, the front door had a terrible seal with the hallway lighting entering around the entire frame of the door. Door latch was broken Dead area of Sandusky - literally nothing going on other than Cedar Point on this end of town Vending matching out of order Overall, just a yucky room. Certainly no more than a 2 star hotel. More expensive than what I think it's worth but the less expensive option in the area. I forget the other options but I would recommend other options until they make upgrades and improvements.

It's being renovated at the moment. It has a lot of potential. Our room was basic, everything worked properly, the fridge was large for a hotel room. There was a strange smell in the room and you could tell it hadn't been updated for a long time. Overall, for the price, I wasn't disappointed and would stay again. It's a room with beds and a bathroom, all I really need for our cedar point trips.

1st thing I don’t like was, yes this hotel has inside rooms. But anyone could walk in. There was no key card. So no security as to who could get in. We were greeted around 11pm by other guests in the parking lot stating they had been to 3 rooms and seen dead bugs in all 3 rooms. We searched our room and didn’t find any bugs. The bedding was clean. The bed was decent. And the bathtub/ bathroom was clean. But the room just looked run down. The air conditioning worked amazing! But there were entire piece pieces of the vents busted off. There were some small holes in the walls. There was a full sized apartment sized fridge. It seemed to work great. There was also a microwave. And a small table to eat at but, No chairs though to sit at the table. We were only there to sleep. We did open to close 2 days at Cedar Point. The hallways here smelled of marijuana despite the fact that all the rooms in that hallway were designated non smoking. But we didn’t notice the MJ smell in our room. This hotel was very budget friendly. Would I stay here again? Probably! But not by myself. Only with others.

Pro- It was available at the last minute for a spontaneous trip to Cedar Point. I booked it the same day for 2 nights. The pictures looked nice. Pro: Check-in was easy. The man at the front desk was very nice. Con: Upon entering the room. We had Zero towels and NO toilet paper. Con: No phone to call front desk. Pro: Walked to front desk. They gave me towels. Con: No hairdryer. Con: No phone. To call the front desk- you must use your own cell phone Pro: I used my cell phone to order Domino's pizza and it came within 30 minutes. Con: Keyless doors. I'm sure it saves money to keep replacing keys. However, this means that the doors in the parking lot, like the back entrance- remain UNLOCKED at all times. Most hotels require guests to use their key to get into the building, to ensure that only guests are in the hotel. Not here. Anyone can just walk through the doors. Con: The lock on the inside of the room was broken. (the latch lock) Con: No alarm clocks, or no clocks at all. Again, use your phone. Con: No fridge. No microwave. The website states that all rooms have these. but they do not. Con: My youngest son, (8) forgot his toothbrush. He went to the front desk to ask for one. Was told a toothbrush would be $3. This is absurd. Pro: The shower was great. Great water pressure. We didn't come to hang out in the hotel. For the price, it was fine. We showered and slept. New owners, they are working to make it better. Housekeeping staff were screaming at each other.

This hotel is very dated and not attractive from the outside. Our room was ok but had lots of repairs that could be made. No breakfast available, which we knew up front. The price was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

New ownership at the property. They are working to get it up and running. It isn't a 5 star resort, we just slept there. The AC worked great, and room security is great. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will go back.

The motel is very old but clean as can be for age of building. Room was ok, some things like towel bar and toilet seat lid were broken and falling off the wall. Wasn't a huge deal to us. Bed was king size and very comfortable. Pool was clean and warm. Has some sort of pool house that is in desperate need of TLC. Very old broken down grill. The convenience to Cedar Point was awesome. Literally located around the corner of the entrance. Several people gave this motel a 8-10/10 I would not say that! This is at best 4/10 motel. Based off location, cleanliness and staff was friendly and the outdoor pool was actually nice and working. Otherwise this is a very basic motel. No elevator as it's only 2 stories. We had to go inside the motel and the walk back outside to get to our room. So if you have a lot to carry in. Be prepared. Now one of the employees was walking out with us and he actually helped carry our cooler and bags up the steps. Again, staff was pleasant. We both agreed we would stay again.

I got more than what I paid for!

The motal on the outside looked ok but the main lobby looked amazing. The hallways to the rooms looked really nice and I loved the lobby. The rooms are great and the beds was SOOOO Is comfortable! Pillows were very nice! I also liked the covers. The only down fall was their was no microwave but the motal was so close to Cedar Point and it was very easy to get too. It's great for the price and And the cable tv was awesome They had a very decent amount of channels like usa,TNT, my mom also liked HSN and QVC channel's. When we went up to the motel, We saw Good and bad reviews of the motal. But i'm glad we went.We definitely will come back! I read somewhere it had a new owner and they were remodeling a lot. I can tell because I had a great experience. It was also very clean The shower were soooo goood i loved the warm water. This was a worth it trip! And hope to come back next year.

Great price! My daughter loved the pool. There is a lovely courtyard area. This could be a beautiful hotel with a little TLC. Beds were comfortable and clean. Apartment size frig and microwave. Spacious room. On the downside, our door frame was cracked and my daughter and I could not open/close the door. Property was a bit run down and dated. TV was small. Since we stayed for a Cedar Point visit, it was fine for our needs. We didn’t spend much time there.
