Great stay!

Hotel was clean and convenient. The staff was friendly. The pool was also a good size. The front desk didn't give us early entry paper for Cedar Point, luckily we have Gold Pass with All Parks which grants us early entry anyway, but the lady at the entrance to Cedar Point was giving us a hard time so I wish we would of had it.

Cedar Point Visit

We stayed here while in town to visit Cedar Point Amusement Park. After a full day at the park we get back to the hotel and our electronic keys don’t work. We go to the front desk and get them reset. We go back to our room and the keys still don’t work. They say the battery is probably dead they need to call maintenance. About 40 minutes later they find maintenance but they can’t find the laptop to get into our room. They have to call the maintenance guy from another hotel to bring their laptop. The maintenance guy arrived in about 30 minutes which is the time they quoted. He was very nice and let us right in and fixed our door. It took over 2 hours and it was around midnight before we were able to get into our room. That is when I noticed house keeping had not been in our room. They must have found a problem with the door and never notified anyone. That was really disappointing. The next day they left towels and emptied our trash but never made our beds during our stay. We never received any follow up from the front desk or management.

Disappointed

Stayed with my family for 5 days. The room temperature is horrible. It’s either freezing or hot, either way it was damp feeling. One of our rooms smelled terrible. Pool/splash pad were closed quite a bit. Including 4th of July when heat was in the mid 90’s. They gave a pass to go elsewhere however, I have a medical Issue making it hard to walk sometimes and requiring medication that I can’t drive with, so this was VERY inconvenient. Not to mention no one wanted to drive on the holiday.. I had plans to relax at the pool 2 days which I wasn’t able to do. We picked this hotel for convenience to sports, cedar point and specifically the outdoor pool. Staff were friendly and dealt with some really nasty customers appropriately which I commend them for. Overall we were quite disappointed and when we come back next year will likely not stay at this hotel.

The staff at the property is friendly and ALWAYS cleaning something. The hotel is very clean. we stay here every Fourth of July and have always been very pleased. However…this trip was disappointing as the pool was closed for the majority of our trip due to chemical imbalances in the pool. While we appreciated the attention to detail regarding the pool, we were extremely disappointed that it was closed for a lot of the trip. This trip earns just an okay this time but based on our past experiences with this particular property…we will probably still return as This was our first unsatisfactory experience here.

Used Washcloth left in bathroom upon arrival. Had to ask multiple times at front desk for more towels and an extra blanket before finding a worker on my own in the hall to deliver. Pool was gross. Rooms super small.
