My checkin was at 3 but my room was not ready and was told twice to wait another 15-20 minutes. Then when we finally chose to downgrade the room because it still wasn’t ready, the room we got wasn’t that clean. The bathroom floor was dirty and the bathroom itself was dirty. The rooms need an upgrade and better cleaning/staff for what they charge. I give this place a 1.5 star.

Canceled me without warning
Holiday inn canceled my room with out notifying me. Had a late check-in. Told me they overbooked and i had no room. Here I am at 12:30am with a 3 year old in the car trying to find a hotel. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Don't go to Holiday inn. There are better hotels.

Great hotel in Santa Cruz
Great happy front desk and housekeepers, food service staff excellent as well. Huge variety of breakfast buffet , although weather was not permitting , pool was still available for the brave. Vending machine on ground floor, 2 parking garages with easy acxess to hotel. Clean rooms, coffee and tea counter at reception area fir the cold weather.

We felt very comfortable with our stay, we have never been in the area so it was an amzing experience. We absolutely loved the breakfast, such an amazing way to start the day.
