Check in was super friendly and very helpful. The room could have been absolutely amazing but fell short in a few places. There were cookies on the floor and trash behind the nightstand. The toilet paper roll was empty and a new roll opener and just placed on top of the empty roll (like my teenager does, too lazy to swap the new roll onto the holder). And the one and only lamp in the room didn’t work. Maybe the bulb was burnt out but it was late and I didn’t want to chase down maintenance. I also couldn’t inform the front desk the next morning since there was a sign saying no one available until 10:30am. Aside from these things, I would have loved the room.

Our go-to hotel for Santa Cruz.
We always enjoy our stay at Casablanca On The Beach. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and very dog friendly. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable, not to mention the amazing view of the ocean. The hotel is situated perfectly for the most scenic sunrise and sunset.

Loved our stay!
I really loved our stay, we relaxed at the resort like patio seating with a view of the beach and loved it! The room was updated and beautifully serene (unlike the photos!). The only thing for me is, I have some back issues and the bed was too soft.
