Palo Alto cement ship, picnic on the beach, or dip in the ocean. Our cottage offers comfort with a beachy feel. We take great care in the comfort and safety of our guests. The Space:

We have two bedrooms, each featuring a king bed for a restful night’s sleep. The office is attached to the second bedroom and includes a desk to work remotely, and a daybed with a trundle, offering additional sleeping space.



Enjoy our complimentary State Park/Beach Pass during your stay, perfect for exploring the beautiful coastline, hiking scenic trails, or visiting the elephant seals at Año Nuevo State Beach. There are several nearby state parks and beaches to discover, giving you endless options for outdoor adventure. To ensure future guests can enjoy this perk, a $120 fee will apply if the pass is not returned—thank you for your care!

The home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Relax in the living room with a Roku 4K UHD TV, where you can stream your favorite Netflix, Amazon, and other apps. The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare home-cooked meals, and the landscaped backyard is perfect for unwinding or enjoying a BBQ. Please note, there is no dishwasher in the home (it may appear in the amenities list, but this is an error we’re unable to remove).

Located near the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, you’ll have easy access to incredible ocean experiences like whale watching, paddleboarding, kayaking, and surfing.



Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby hiking and mountain biking trails, including Nisene Marks State Park.



Take a short drive to Seacliff Village to enjoy local shops and dining. Favorites include Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant and Café Sparrow, and don’t miss a treat from Marianne’s Ice Cream. Or head across the freeway to Aptos Village where you'll find a farm to store market with a good deli and sushi, restaurants, the Penny Creamery and more. For a scenic day trip, visit Monterey’s Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium (36 miles away), or head to Carmel (39 miles) and experience the iconic 17-Mile Drive before returning home to relax.

Other Things to Note:

We have two bedrooms with a king bed in each. The office is attached to the 2nd bedroom and also offers a daybed with a trundle for additional sleeping Therefore guests in that room would access the bathroom and main house through the 2nd bedroom. The office also has a door to access the back yard, in addition to backyard access from the kitchen area.
