Book a hotel near Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Southside Village

"Was disappointed in the conditions for the price. Place is showing its age. Dirty windows looking out your room doesn’t reflect well on the care of your customers…"

" On the plus side: The hotel in centrally located. It is very close to downtown as well as many shops and restaurants. There is a free breakfast that was good. On the negative side: The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade. The rooms were clean . But the furniture is very dated. Also, there was a fishy sort of odor in the room. I went across to Publix and bought a room deodorizer to help offset the smell. It is fine for a short stay. But, it could be improved. "

"Long line at check-in. Rooms were not ready. With corporate events, wedding(s), and other social events, staff was overwhelmed; delays in valet car service. As regular guests, we felt like we were in the way. Rufa's was closed Saturday night with no notice. Other guests were loud (children yelling well after midnight). Game room needs update. "

"Very clean and reasonable rates. Didn’t realize it was on the top floor. Kitchen was great for our needs. Loved being close to downtown restaurants. Would highly recommend."
