The staff are friendly and wonderful! The place is cozy and dog friendly, we really enjoyed the hikes that are connected to the trails. (Make sure to spray Off before heading in, I was not prepared and bought some bug spray which did the trick)

Location is an easy drive to SSM. There are trails around or you can just walk around the campground. Everything you need for a short stay is right there. Nice to be able to cook my own meals instead of going out all the time.

We stayed here on our long return trip home. We only needed a place to sleep, since we arrived late and left early. It was pet friendly place with air conditioning and cheaper than local hotels. That being said, there were lots of bugs and the place felt quite damp. In the future, if we need to stay in the Soo, we would choose somewhere else.

It was a great stay. The only thing that can use some important is the rules at the pool. People eating and drinking alcohol in the pool area is a bit stressful and not good . If the health board was to show up they would close the pool and that is not far to the People that adhere to the rules.
