Gracious and elegant manor with many tasteful adornments. The room was very comfortable down to the soft sheets and fluffy towels. The main floor and porch are spacious giving you the chance to sink into a soft chair undisturbed. The staff were delightful and were even able to get me a reservation at a booked-out restaurant. The location is a real plus being on a quiet street and well within walking distance of the major Savannah attractions. I recommend the Godley Manor without hesitation and am looking forward to returning.

Our room was absolutely beautiful & decorated appropriately for the time period. We were lucky enough to have a room with a private balcony. The staff were kind & helpful. The entire home was spotless. And we would definitely stay here again.

This was perhaps the best stay I've had in a long time even in spite of personal challenges I had visiting Savannah. Beth Godley is a wonderful host. I had a medical emergency during my vacation where I needed help and she was not only understanding but so helpful during my stay even though I was a complete stranger to her. The manor and room itself was so clean, comfortable, cozy and beautiful! The bed was super comfortable and the room was cozy. It was so much better than a hotel stay and I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience that historic manor feel opposed to a modern hotel.

The Godley Manor is a lovely, down-to-earth, comfortable choice in the historic district. We loved the included parking and convenience to everything Savannah offers. The staff were all terrific, and you could tell they really care about the place. We had wonderful chats with our fellow guests at the continental breakfast, which was tasty and sufficient. This is not a stuffy five star inn, but for our needs and wants, that was one of its biggest charms!
